Very nice build! congrats on sub 10second run! Off topic, but relevant to suzuki GS1100ex in general. I have one(1981) and it makes a knocking noise at low RPM. If I rev the engine, the knocking goes away and it also goes away when I depress the clutch. Which bearing? how to change it? I have been all over Internet looking for the right answer...can you please help?
CRM6718 I would ask over on the thegsresources.com/ discussion board. Thats a new one to me. If I was to guess I would look at the clutch basket. Make sure it's not loose.
I had alot of fun building that bike. It did have a couple cool custom things on it. Thanks
Clutch works the same as the old denco glide clutches on the old z9 from years ago
Love the epic music track, I felt like the Last Mohican about to head into battle! haha.
love your bike build video and that start clutch setup is super cool.
nice build, and very well put together video.

+gs1260cc Quick update, it is the clutch basket.
Check the clutch hub itself, springs, rivets, spline inserts etc
Does that left side motor plate allow for the stock dyno for charging? I'm looking at putting one on my GS1100.
Thanks!
Yes you could. I had cut most of it down to take the weight off the end of the crank. I just charged between rounds.
Why not Lectrons??
