I wasn’t expecting this to hit so close to my exact personality traits but it made it so much more realistic and I called my therapist so thank you cause I was slipping and I don’t have a support system like this to call me out when I need it.
Reaching a different level of loneliness and anxiety sucks. I hate having to deal with it sometimes. Finding your videos has helped me so much lately! I’m so thankful for you
Your voice is so soothing. My daughter struggled with depression ,anxiety, self harm and suicide attempts when she was a teenager also. That is my greatest hope is that when she finds a partner that they will support her and her mental health.
When you told us your old coping mechanisms it made me want to hug you. :( I wrote that at the time you mention it in the video. It's clear now that you want to help people and provide comfort in ways you were not given any yourself. I hope you have someone special to take care of you when you need support. i swear it felt like you were literally talking directly to me. everything you said is in direct correlation to what i’m going through/ what i do. and when you mentioned the french fries and halsey, i was convinced you literally knew me irl haha!
My signature line has become I'm fine even when I'm absolutely not. I say it because I'm afraid I'm being a constant burden and it sucks; especially right now with everything going on in my life. My depression and anxiety have me really struggling and ughh it sucks.
Could you do some affirmations for people with trust issues and abandonment issues? I've been feeling particularly bad about the possibility that people don't actually care about me and just want to leave me.
