- So, I was on my way home from spending the day in Carlisle with my buddies when I decided to stop and grab a bite to eat. I then went across the tracks and saw a clear signal for a Northbound train on the CSX Toledo Sub and decided to park by the tracks and catch it before I went home.
The next thing I know, @SimonsEMDProductions pulls into the spot beside me because he saw the clear signal too, so we hung out there for the next 2 hours and got these 5 trains in this video!
I have described them in the video, so I won`t bother typing it all out here. If you have a question, leave it in the comments below and I`ll get you an answer as quick as I can.
Thanks for watching! Развлечения
Great freight comes to those who wait!
That it does! Lol
Good trains, Scott! A very long auto rack followed by a long coil steel/empty slab car train. I love ❤️ the huge steel coils! Thank you, Scott! 😃😃😃😃❤❤❤❤
I knew you would love them coils!
@@1960gambit You know me well, Scott. 😃😃😃🤎🤎🤎
What a great season to train watch and little fluffy clouds ☁️ .,, love it
Yes, it was a very beautiful day last Thursday for sure!
We are getting them to ...little fluffy clouds so nice !
Good morning Scott, Great video, thanks for posting, Our Cool air has arrived, nice outside this morning, but our neighboring Counties over night had up to 7 inches of rainfall, WOW, we only got about 2 inches. Have a great day and enjoy the cool weather.
Cool here this morning too. Was 56 when I got up, but the hot stuff is coming back real soon. I can`t imagine getting 7 inches of rain in one shot! If that happened here, the number of flooded homes would be unreal!
A very impressive intermodal train at 206 cars! The longest I've seen for a while, Scott! So cool! 😃😃😃😃❤❤❤❤
Glad you enjoyed it Gary!!
@@1960gambit I did! Immensely. I love long trains. 🙂🙂❤️❤️
Wow that coil train was enormous in length. Great to watch today. Weather just the same. Many thanks.
she definitely seemed to have way more slab cars than normal!!
Thanks Robina! Have a great day!
Enjoying this video! Thanks for sharing this with us❤

Thanks Timmy! I bet you and I are about the same age. I`m 63, soon to be 64! Ouch! Lol
Thank you so much for the spectacular video today, Scott! Nearly every one of the trains was long and fast, just the way I like them. The mix of trains was fantastic. I look forward to your next posting! I'll chat at you the next time. Thanks again and please be safe out there! 😃😃😃😃😃😃❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks Gary!
@@1960gambit You're certainly not, Greg! 🙂🙂

Good Monday morning my friend, I hope you had a good weekend. Another awesome video this morning, and I hope you have a safe and blessed week ahead.
Good morning Bill! Have a great day my friend!
Well done! You got that power again, from a dead stop just down the line :-)
Turned up the sound of those magnificent locomotives working hard to get thousands of tons of wagons (cars as you call them) going. Takes some beating I can tell you!
Thanks Scott :-)
You are very welcome, Tony. Have a great day!
Great.
Thanks!
Great variety of cars. Long trains. Beautiful sky. I liked it. Thanks Scott. ❤
Very welcome Margie! Thanks for watching!
Made the 2hr30min run from Denver to Laramie, Wyoming so we could see the UP Big Boy steam into Laramie! What an incredible locomotive! It was us and about 1000 of our closest friends! LOL Unfortunately we were all kept behind a 6 foot high chain link fence so it was really hard to get any good photos or videos. Realized afterwards when we went to Cheyenne where it started out from this morning, there were a lot of places we could have stopped at and got much better views. Guess I paid too much attention to the official website! But at least I got to see it! Poor hubby only got to hear it cause he dropped me off and had to park about 4 blocks away and that's a bit much of a hike for him.
That`s the one thing that makes catching it hard is the amount of folks that want to see it and it`s usually in a tight spot so it is a real challenge. Jaw Tooth and I were going to fly out there and see it leave Chyenne and then try to chase it awhile, but decided against it when we heard it`s coming this way in August. Going to try to catch it in Iowa or somewhere near there. Hopefully it all works out so we can do the trip!
@1960gambit I didn't realize it was also doing an eastbound tour later on. Now that I know that we can scout out places closer to us to go watch it! Thanks! Have a good day!
Nice day at the rails! Great video Scott!
🚂🚂🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃💯👍🇺🇸
Thanks Jim, I`m glad you liked it!
Love Carlisle! Just as good as Glendale!
I think it`s better because the trains are fast and they lay on the horn!!
Nice video, greetings from Jakarta, Indonesia
Thank you very much! Have a great day over there!
Steel coils coming from a rolling mill..will the empty slab cars....slab train heading back to the rolling mill, with empty coil cars..seems to add add up....ONE EMD Loco amid all them GE Toasters...
They crank them rolls out in Middletown non stop. Thanks for watching! 😁
Fantastic 😊
Thanks so much! I`m glad you liked it!
Wow that first intermodel was a monster! Took ages to pass & it was flyin. Nice horn salute from train 4 Scott, the gates go down early in the UK Scott i see videos where its been 5 min before the train comes! The average has to be 3 minutes. Enjoyed all the trains Scott thank you. ❤😊👍
Good morning, Carol, the cool weather has arrived this morning after many of our local towns receiving up to 7 inches of rain over night.
@@revharrycwigmoreiii5787 good morning Rev Harry, wow it goes from one extreme to another! Have a great day. 🥰
Here in America the gates are timed to go down 30 seconds before the train gets to the crossing in most places. They use some sort of electronic timing now that factors in the speed of the train. Slow trains will be closer to the crossing when the gates and lights come on, but it is still 30 seconds warning. Have a great day Carol!
@@1960gambit thanks for that Scott! 🥰
OUTSTANDING TRAINS🔥🔥👍👍🙏
Thank you very much, Bob!
Enjoyed the video. Love that siding
Thanks Rick!
😅the wagons are swining because the track is antiek, made bij rostey nails, not here in the modern E.U.🤣
Actually it is caused by the bevel on the wheel face to keep it centered between the rails. It is more pronounced when the cars are empty. This track isn`t very old at all.
Scott I love it when trains book through Carlisle....what year is your new ride??? Because im looking to get something like that in the future.
Thanks Carlos! It`s a 2020. It had 35, 000 miles on it and it`s loaded. The thing stickered for $30K in 2020 and I got it for $19K. It`s in like new condition and runs and rides great! Quiet as a mouse too!
@@1960gambit wow Scott you got a break....I might just get one ....is it key or push start
is it me or did the coil train have 2 or 3 times the normal amount of slab cars?
I was thinking the same thing. Seemed a lot longer than usual to me too!
Hi Scott do you have any idea where your going to be Saturday
At my grandson`s birthday party. He will be 3!
As the saying goes, that was not your father's coil train. Still, it didn't seem like a proper coil train since it lacked a trailing DPU.
CSX doesn`t run them on this train because it is headed North and the track is relatively flat. NS does it in Kentucky because they have some serious hills to pull down there.
@@1960gambit I guess I just like the symmetry of the NS double-ender trains.
😅nice long long trains. Scot,see yor email.😅
Thanks! Will do!
Good made video, mr 1960 Gambit.
You aspect that steelcoil train and then comes another, this one has the priority
Tnx for this topvideo 🚆🚆🚆👍💪👍💪 👌🚆🚆 in Carlisle.
Greet from Zandvoort the Netherlands.
Thanks Roelof! Have a great day my friend!
