Black women and black men today would think something like this is alien because most of them hadn't seen their parents stay together and teach them traditional values of the nuclear black family.
Whenever Black Men ask for the traditional values of the nuclear Black family, most of the "deal breakers" we've been hearing from modern Black Women are: Being submissive, cooperatve and feminine to BLACK Men is "condtional"... BWs want to be equal "partners" (but the Man pays all the bills)... Black Male leadership is "toxic masculinity"... Getting Degrees and starting businesses is more important to BWs than getting married and starting a family ( in that order)... The salary a Brother MUST make in order to take them on trips 💰 and (usually) deal with another Man's kids... She really "Don't Need No Man"... She just wants one to be HER "help mate".
I have, My Grandparents were together for 50÷ years. Funny, my Mom hated my Grandmother's World view and she took it as something demeaning and useless for modern women in 60s & 70s. My parents are the children of Baby Boomers(or the Greatest Generation) and their Generation(Moms) is the primary one that started the All out attack of Social norms of Society they grew up in. Granted racism and classicism were issues but , the gender issues posed by Feminists was always a ploy to seek POWER & INDEPENDENCE at the expense of the traditional Marital and Familial arrangement. Like Oprah and my mother and other women of that ilk & Generation are doomed to be frustrated or alone(or both) because they didn't want to listen to the Women Before them. Oh yeah, having a boyfriend for 30+ years is not the same as being Married. Reason being is that both parties in a Boyfriend/Girlfriend dynamic still have options to leave the relationship without baggage or Reason for that matter. Oh yeah, I don't RESPECT or like today's Social norms because they're a byproduct of one's desire to live a life of independence without accountability and shame. Wow, isn't that the Reason that 100% of former World empires sowed the seed of their OWN Destruction. Mmmm,I wonder what's going to be the outcome for this generation .
My parents got married when I was 6. They're still together to this day. I never saw him fix his own plate unless he did the cooking that night. Which was rare. However, when my dad cooked, he fixed all of our plates. Just like ma did. My sister's washed the dishes. I took the trash out and kept the bathrooms and the basement cleaned. Point is we all had our roles in the household. The women did the cooking mostly. So a woman telling me to fix my own plate. Alright cool. I'll fix it but she'll never see again. I'll never do a thing for her.

My great grandfather told me once when I was 8yrs old I never understood them but the words stuck with even 31 years later. He said; "when you eventually start to see girls in that way, you make sure you find yourself one that's worth killing or dying for... it's going to be harder for you than it was for me though." That was in 1991 he saw the waybthe wind was blowing then. Those were just an echo for the next 10-15yrs of my life until they became the only words I heard when I started to get more serious about my dealings with women... Unfortunately I haven't found one yet...
Just had my husbands mom tell me I didn’t have to make her sons plate on yesterday even though I told her I come from a family where that’s what the women do for their men. Couldn’t believe my ears, definitely cringe worthy
My mom do the same for my dad, she cooks breakfast for him and packs his lunch, she has his dinner ready when he gets home and she keeps the house spotless, now my dad works and takes very good care of her and I love their relationship. I’m following in their footsteps my wife and I been married 15 years now.
Watching that BEAUTIFUL video has me in tears. It's a damn shame most modern women have destroyed their families. They see wonderful loving women who LOVE their good men as weak. They see good men that LOVE them as lower than dirt. They don't know how to be happy so they make everybody miserable. There's no hope for the hyenas...
And I'm gonna guarantee you this I betcha that man when they were courting (not dating) each other he didn't even have to ask her "what do you bring to the table?" Because he saw how she had the table already made.
Modern Black Women are balling up their fists and punching the air watching videos like that. They'd call that lady all sorts of names. They'd be dissing and insulting the man. Making all sorts of baseless accusations. Luckily I saw this type of relationship dynamic in my own family and got to experience it with the elders over Thanksgiving. Most younger Black Men can only find this type of loving appreciation outside of our culture / race. SYSBM
This is all I saw throughout my life. From both sets of Grandparents, My Parents, Aunts/Uncles & their spouses. Because of that I'll be damned if I won't have it because a woman wants to come half cocked. My ex came half cocked and she's back in her mother's attic. This is currently how Me and My Lady are & will continue to strive to be.
My husband always sits down and waits for me to fix his food, at first it kinda irritated me because a part of me thought. " why can't you just fix it yourself?' But after thinking about it i realized it makes him feel loved and respected when I do that. Now I know that it is serving him and it is what a wife does. I'm glad that such a little thing gives him joy and makes him feel loved. He will also make a plate for me from time to time by the way.
THIS COMMENT!!! Most of today's women miss the underlying theme of what you're saying - which is that MEN ARE SIMPLE! We don't ask for a lot. Little things mean a lot to us, but the kicker is we don't solely focus on the little things. We really care about the attitude and the energy behind the little things. Love this.

That was in 1991 he saw the waybthe wind was blowing then. Those were just an echo for the next 10-15yrs of my life until they became the only words I heard when I started to get more serious about my dealings with women... Unfortunately I haven't found one yet...
All that love, and not one superficial attachment..
Just had my husbands mom tell me I didn’t have to make her sons plate on yesterday even though I told her I come from a family where that’s what the women do for their men. Couldn’t believe my ears, definitely cringe worthy
Ladies take out a pen & paper to take notes 📝
SYSBM
Swinging at the air like Trey in “Boyz in Da Hood” after getting harassed by the cops 😂.
@@ninocrown3247 😲🤣💯
Well get your passport and leave.
I seen that relishment smoldering within our foremother EYEYS!
Love this.
He loves you, Ma'am...never underestimate that...Blessings.

So sweet so beautiful so attainable IF ……as a woman you are willing to serve and not just be served.
It’s called selflessness instead of selfishness.
