Cooper is a very smart little boy with impeccable taste. He just needed to get used to the idea of glasses. This is a normal reaction for all kids. They hate putting anything on their face. He eventually got used to them after awhile and he looks adorable with them 🥰😍 I was 3 when I had to wear glasses. My mom told me I did that too. I kept taking them off because I hated them but I eventually realized I saw better with them so I adjusted 🙏
As someone who literally hate children and youth, this with other discussed, I just have to ask how you view this video and call them a huge bundle of energy and joy? It just seemed like the biggest crybaby fest of the century over trying on glasses litterally throwing a fit. How is that a bundle of joy?
You get use to them Coop! I’ve worn glasses since I was 4. I’ve had every shape and colour under the sun and it gets exciting to pick out glasses these days x
Tomato brand glasses are the best at that age in my opinion! My daughter loved that they seemed like adult glasses but they are very durable and you can buy parts if somehow they break and to get the perfect nose piece.
I’m just so thankful that the standard with little kids with vision issues is more often glasses in present day. Back in the 80s, my parents had to become experts at getting contact lenses in and out of baby me and toddler my brother, because that was just how things were then (we were both born with cataracts, so the actual lenses were removed after we were born). I finally got glasses at age 6, because I’d just lost the vision in my left eye (glaucoma), and they thought the contacts might be contributing - we wanted to keep the other eye at less risk, and here I am 30 years later, whacking into every doorframe with my left side because I keep misjudging the distance. (Fun fact: I saw my 7 year old son do the same “ping off the doorframe,” and immediately sat him down and did a quick eye test. He’s still got vision in both eyes, and as he has been seeing a pediatric ophthalmologist since birth (because of concerns that he might inherit the cataracts - he did not), it was excessive worry on my side. As of his last appointment, I can say that he has mild astigmatism in both eyes, and his vision is ever so slightly worse in one eye. The most exciting part of this for him is that he’s joining the entire rest of his family as 🤓 glasses-wearers. He’s wanted glasses since he could talk 😂) Seeing Coop trying on glasses and not loving it vs. them becoming needed items in his day, just like his ears, is a huge heart-melt ❤ - Coop with his ears and his glasses, and his happiest grin, has absolutely cheered some of my worst days this year. ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤎🤍🖤 Sasha
Literally the most inspiring mom and son duo.Yall are literally so adorable, its hurts(i died from cuteness overlode). You're the best mom beth. And well coop im very proud of how far he come. You two never fail to bring a smile to my face. Love you two ❤❤
I don't like things on my face either, bud. I alternate between lightweight metal frames and contacts. Didn't have glasses as a young kid but I'd imagine it would have gone something like this 😅
I got my first pair of glasses and hates them for the first couple days because my eyes were hurting even more than previously. Once I adjusted and started seeing better with them on and my headaches went away, my whole world changed
My sister's first pair of glasses had the ends curled like Cs to curve around her ears and stay put on her happy, energetic self. seeing this try-on session made me smile :) (we got similar glasses at the same time, but the age gap meant mine didnt need to have the ends heated and curled XD)
As a glasses wearer, i reacted similarly as a kid! I hated them so much-until the ones with lenses arrived and I realized how everyone else sees the world. Wack.
He does NOT like the red or blue ones! 🤭😂 Notice how he was perfectly calm with the very light green ones. The other two were bright vivid colors and he may not be able to tolerate them. It’s a sensory thing.
The clear outine ones are the ones , i recently turned 20 and had to get glasses had grey frame ones couldnt get used to the frame outline. Got the clear outlines and i forgot i was even wesring glasses within 10 minutes.
The nano glasses are perfect for him!. They are very flexible like how sometimes he throws his Ears he can throws them twist them bend them and it won’t break(I got this off of yt so idk if it will actually break)
My brother has astigmatism in both eyes, very badly. My parents didnt know this till he was in kindergarden/1st grade and he was falling behind in reading. My mom said it finally hit her when she was reading to him and he took the book out of her hands and brought it really close to his face. He was a little warry of them at first and then once he realized how much better it was he never took them off. 9 years later my mom is now trying to invest in "breakable" glasses because his prescription is expensive and the dude keeps getting hit in the face during gym
He is so cute! ❤ I love your videos keep it up they are amazing with your kiddo and showing the good, the bad and everything in between that is what makes you guys amazing!
I have a five year old with severe autism, and we go through a lot of glasses. I order all of his from Zenni Optical. They have cheap prices, and cute glasses. We have 3 backup pair lol.
Relatable, my dude. Having someone else put my glasses on my face for me is intensely uncomfortable, never mind not having grown accustomed to wearing them in the first place.
I love your videos coop is such a joy to watch and you have such a wonderful relationship with him. Thanks for writing your book all three of my boys had learning disabilities. They are all doing great now. 2 had high functioning autism and one had dyslexia. I also have a high functioning autistic grandson.
Isn't there an app like Zenni where you can take a face photo & try different looks on & let Cooper pick his own pair or for you to pick them? I get you're in central MN, but there has to be a simpler way. I would imagine he was just over it all by this point in the appointment. I worked as Optical assistant for years. It can sensory overload for anyone at any age.
My youngest son was 7 and this is pretty much how it went with him too! He just kept yelling I don’t need them and snatching them off. I’m not saying coop don’t need them because I’m sure he does but my son is 20 today and functioning fine without glasses. He was right he didn’t need them lol
I told my mom in 3rd grade that I had to move to the front seat of the class to see so I needed glasses. For whatever reason she thought I was lying until the ophthalmologist said “yup she’s legally blind at 8 yrs old”. 😂
He has the fuzzy sickness (for those of you its a reference to an anime in which people need glasses but they dont know about glasses or eye problems so they call it the fuzzy sickness)
Just noting this was a year ago! We settled on the Tomato brand and still have the same pair, they hold up great.
He's so cute I would love to have a conversation with someone day he brings a smile to my face
Absolutely adorable, we allowed our to pick. Made the whole process easier. BUT it also took a few tries 😂
He looks so cute. I remember wearing my 1st pair of glass when I was a baby lol Cooper is so adorable 😊

He's so cute🥰❤️
It really is basically saying, "here, carry these with your face!" Haha 😅 I imagine I would have reacted exactly the same way
This was a year ago but yes now he’s a pro!
@@beth_and_coop it seems now that’s all he wants lol
My little sister used to hide hers, like one pair we found month later in a matress at grandmas..
The green circle ones are so cute ‼️
you're so patient with him! Good job mama and great job lil coop, he modeled those glasses so incredibly! ❤
This is not extraordinary.
If you would react differently you're straight up a shitty parent.
Oh what a cutie!! Bless your patience but he is just a gorgeous bundle of energy and joy! I can’t help but smile when I see these vids!!❤

He is so cute. I love his cheeky little smile.

Ok the round shape is my favorite on him!! I hope he can get comfortable with them. He's so freaking cute!!
This was a year ago! Now he wants his glasses ❤️
@@HannahCatz Oh right!! I think I'd seen that but just forgot
This was last year, if you see his new videos you will notice that he loves his glasses now ❤️
He’s adorable
Cooper is such a cute, amazing, kind little boy ❤

This was a year ago but we ended up with tomatoes and love them!
Why is this little man so adorable.. He's won my heart for real 💖✌️🇦🇺
He looks adorable in all of them!
The red or the green round ones are adorable on him, but Coop is so darn cute, any of them will work
He’s so stinking cute! He looks so cute in his glasses!
The cutest thing in 5he world is a baby with glasses
You Definitely have a lot of patience. 😊
I remember my first pair of glasses! They were a red narrow square design, still look at them sometimes
The greens are so cool! We have a winner!
I like the blue n green ones
Cooper is just the cutest little thing in the world
The green for sure!
Nice! I also have to get special made glasses so I’ve probably been going to that same glasses store since I was his age
You have _far_ more patience than I do, Beth! I would’ve given up after the 2nd pair. Guess that’s why I chose not to have kids. Lol. ❤️ from 🇨🇦
Coop looks like a baby sheldon cooper lol😂❤
OMG he is so cute 🥺❤
Oh the pain! I feel you. Took us 2 different prescriptions and months of patience to get our son to wear his.

He did better than I do now as an almost 30 year old shopping for glasses 💙
Gosh he's the cutest man I have ever seen ❤ those blue eyes and rose cheeks 😍
Seems like he liked the green ones the best too haha!
Big boy COOPER 😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎

I thought this was gonna be my son but instead he realized he could see right away and was like yup these are a part of my face now. 😂
Awww
He does NOT like the red or blue ones! 🤭😂 Notice how he was perfectly calm with the very light green ones. The other two were bright vivid colors and he may not be able to tolerate them. It’s a sensory thing.
Only cool people get to wear glasses! That means Cooper is really cool. 😁
green!!
The clear outine ones are the ones , i recently turned 20 and had to get glasses had grey frame ones couldnt get used to the frame outline. Got the clear outlines and i forgot i was even wesring glasses within 10 minutes.
It was hard for me at 13. I don't blame him.
That boy is the most Disney looking kid i have ever see!!!!!❤
Aww, it's a lot to get used to for a little guy. But he got used to his 'ears' and 'eyes' like a champ.
My man's looking too handsome in those green pairs 💚 love em'
This is just how it went with my sister!
Think about how much he loves his ears and eyes now!
🎉❤
The green ones were so cute on cooper
STOP THE SNEAK ATTACKS HAD ME CACKLING AHHHH
“…. BOOM EYESIGHT!”
“NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO”
The glass with the strap attached might help because he probably won’t be able to take it off
Yeah thats what he is going to get but he hadto try them on first
I love it so cute
He's just so darn cute!
And now he loves them🥰

Just curious but if coop ever had to have an MRI what would happen with his cochlear implants ??? Just wondering as they are metal and magnetic
Your such a good mom Beth you are patient and kid and caring and really fun ♥️
I've worn glasses since the early 90s...i still hate shopping for glasses, lol. You're so cute Cooper! ❤️
❤

Kids will wear glasses if they need them. If you’re just picking styles mom or dad pick less stressful for toddlers
dude i just couldn't have a child. was definitely never meant to be a mother. no idea how you don't just scream. 😂
I've had to have glasses since birth, because of a surgery to save my eyes, and I can admit, I'm 15 and still kinda act like this lol
I told my mom in 3rd grade that I had to move to the front seat of the class to see so I needed glasses. For whatever reason she thought I was lying until the ophthalmologist said “yup she’s legally blind at 8 yrs old”. 😂
It's so difficult finding fitting glasses when they are so small and the nose is even smaller...
I think nano vista glasses is very good its very flexible and it does not break and if u throw them like someone name Cooper it will be perfectly fine
He has the fuzzy sickness
(for those of you its a reference to an anime in which people need glasses but they dont know about glasses or eye problems so they call it the fuzzy sickness)
Ahhhh the green ones!!!! The alternate dimension I could be living in 😢
how bad is his eyesight? I wonder what makes certain people be born with bad vision.
Angry cooper! Those glasses that he threw must have been not his favourite
I love how this was posted after he called marbles margeles and he tried on circle glasses it gives me huge Harry Potter vibes
If you put them on and talk about how cool they are he will want them in an instant
Too many glasses mom. Honestly tho he’s adorable in glasses
Maybe it would have been easier if he got to choose what color his glasses were. And was more engaged in choosing them
I have your book is amazing ABC
She's beautiful and you both are saints.
Jesus wants your kid to be healed and he wants you on heavenwith him
He was not having it.....but in an adorable way
Tell him he is my new favourite kid on earth 🤭✨😊
The way he took the glasses off to stare at his reflections is so cute 😭😭😭😭
He’s like mom I am so over this just pick one and let’s get out of here
How did you get him to wear his previous glasses?
Do his implants get in the way of the glasses by his ears?
Nope not ever the blue ones 😂😂❤❤❤❤ he is soooo funny
I was also young when I got glasses I was 4 and a half months old
