@@bradhaley8432 Yea it really seems like the more time a character takes to personally craft their own version of ODM Gear usage becomes more of a threat using it, like you said both ackermans felt naturally inclined to use ODM gear in their own way making their style of use unique compared to most other average users who go with their training, which likely restricts their abilities due to not allowing them to be creative and going with their own flow, unlike the ackermans who mix it up and use their own styles, fast and direct like mikasa who pushes her gas usage to the limit or levi who uses the shifting gear at the back of his ODM gear to his advantage making him extremely unpredictable when facing off against people who dont know what theyre doing, that and most obviously his signature reverse hand grip
I feel like the ODM gear is the coolest weapon I’ve watched in anything since lightsabers, maybe even more so. Both just have this quality of being so simple but so inherently cool every single time.

for the gas for the odm gear to work properly, they use a material called “iceburst stone” which (probably) isn’t anything like we’ve seen or used before in technology, and also the amount of friction the characters in the show face while using the odm gear (like sliding off walls and building roofs and shit) would probably, in real life, kill you. but then again, it’s fiction.
In theory the biggest problems with making a odm gear would be 1) how to attach it to your target to hold your weight and detach 2) how to power it without a large battery 3) how to deal with the g-forces of maneuvering a high mobility device at high speeds Once you figure that out it's easy
@@Alertacobra12 Its been a while so I don't remember the specifics, but I do know that there was an explanation for the fuel, paradis had a mineral/resource (don't remember what it was called) that was found nowhere else across the world (one of the threats to paradis in season 4 was that outside countries wouldlikely try to conquer them for that resource alone, even without the whole founding titan thing.) All I remember is that it was extraordinarily efficient as a form of fuel and allowed the odm gear to propel people forward as long as they had tanks of it basically. If I had to guess that's also how I would assume they managed to propel literal missiles (thunder spears) in season 3.

Aot is such a great show and has so much to offer. The fact that it’ll find its and is sad, but I guess any work of art has to find an end one day. Fortunately, awesome stuff like this will always give us the opportunity of rewinding its highlights!

I feel like the song's yearning for freedom and the symbol of freedom on the scouts and kind of attach those meanings to ODM gear especially because of how freeing it must feel to use it. Why they use background animation which is mostly cg zoom and pan in smooth animation. While drawing the character animation they use less frames like inbetweens are pretty low. This makes animation going all over and jerky feel. Doesn't look alright and they use the fast movement with stagnant frames.. In the whole series AOT is the same thing usually.
