Was just there this August. I loved it! Was also there many times with parents and grandparents. I'll never forget it never! 😊❤
It's such a unique place. We would love to go back there soon.
I was there in 1980
Awesome! Does it look similar?
Heading up there this weekend. Can someone tell me when the winter season actually starts so I don’t get blocked.
Driving from Chicago
We would suspect it is closed to cars, heard they had a bunch of snow the last couple weeks.
Is there a hotel nearby? I plan to go this summer
We stayed further south. Copper harbor is close, and had some interesting options.
You better make reservations well ahead of time. The supply of accommodations there don't keep up with the demand.
You can stay in Calumet and it's about a half hour to a 40 minute drive at the most on a clear day.
I could kick myself. I was in Copper Harbor for a day trip last October and did not know about this high, scenic road. We were even in the visitor center in CH and nobody told us about it. I would have loved going up there.
That's too bad. Hopefully you can make it back there sometime.
I truck camped there. Made oatmeal on my propane stove in the a.m.
That sounds like fun!
When did you sneak into my dresser and steal my 4th of July t-shirt?
Lol! I love that shirt. Little too small, but I had to have it anyway.
We have on brock way. MT the only house there
Wow that's awesome. Must be interesting in winter.
