- How to assemble Ikea Fjellse bed frame Pine. Standard wooden IKEA double bed frame FJELLSE pine wood. This one is with slatted bed base LURÖY. Bed slats are made of layer-glued birch. They bending slightly for better adjusting to your body and matrices weight. Ikea Fjellse double bed is one of the cheaper Ikea double beds currently £59 in the UK.

Sounds like you got a plan. I have a bed from Ikea, but I will make my own frame to hold slats instead of a current box spring, at the hight that I need. Not difficult. We have another bed from Ikea that was made for slats. We find that the slat support works better providing that the spaces between the slats are no more that 2 ". That should work out for you! Blessings

Hi. Great job thank you.. I bought mine from individual and the long screws that go in the piece that goes outside from footboard to headboard the screws go in without turning. Just push in. Do I bef to get my drill and put in farther?

this is helpful as I got the bed slats for my bed but I had no clue why they were not wide enough. they are designed for the middle bracer -my bed that's not from Ikea doesn't have and is just a boxy frame so the slats are basically useless...🤦♀I will be returning them and going to the hardware store to by some planks of wood cut to size instead..

What size and type screwdriver do I need to put these screws in with... or with a drill what size and kind?

I'm trying to assemble this same bed frame right now without any instructions. I'm having a hard time putting the nail into the metal bar thing with two holes that I have to slide inside and get the nail to go into the two metal holes. I noticed you are using a drill. I didn't use a power drill. Would that be the problem?

Hi, I was just given this bed without brackets and I was wondering if you know the type of bracket it needs for the middle piece?
This was my question too. I was thrilled to see this video. Also, missing some screws. I was hoping to see an answer.
To be honest we put the middle in without any brackets. There a so many screws hold the bed together plus the slats in the middle you should be fine. We’ve had no issues.
The screw at the tops of the foot of the bed are not going through. I've done everything like you said 😪

I think one I did was standard double with measurements

I'm going to get the Hemnes bed and I don't know what to do about slats. We have a king size and we have split box springs. Should I get these to go with the box springs? I don't think that the bed will be able to properly support just the box springs but I don't know what else I'd put there.
I got this frame a few months ago and when I put my bed on it, it starts to curved in the middle😐 can you tell me what's wrong??

Ikea is selling only bed frame without slatted bed base. Do you think bed frame can hold the matress without slatted bed base?

uche odega Look like in your country is sold separately. Here in U.K. Bed cost £59 with slated base. Look like in different countries different stuff but when you check on Ikea site you can see what is included and what isn't
