The TTX is my Favorite airplane. I was lucky enough to work at the Factory they were made at while they were still in production. I used to get in trouble because I would sit in the cockpit and pretend to fly the thing! Maybe someday I'll get to ride in one.
I remember when Lancair came out with the Corvallis. They are great aircraft. I got to fly a TTX once and fell in love with it. Since then always dreamed to own one. Great airplane Steve, thanks for sharing.
Can you comment on the glide of each and the stalls as I got into a conversation over a IV P handling vs the ES . IS the ES wing about the same as the Mako as they're saying the MAko wing is docile and the plane is a lot easier to handle than the IV P. Your comments would be appreciated unless there is a video on this subject .
I did the same, traded my S22T for a Lancair for the exact same reasons. I now fly on half the fuel, faster and more fun, not to mention the maintenance...you won't regret your decision.
Cessna didnt have a lot of problems then update it. The first one was the Columbia 300. The TTX was the 400. No design change at all. It was a certified plane already.
Decisions, decisions. Both are incredibly capable planes but seems like your x-country adventures would benefit from pressurization…Lancair ES-P! Get above the traffic and the weather. One plane to do it all…unmatched for the $.

So sad that Cessna stopped production on the TTX. I agree with you. I think it's a better airplane than he Cirrus.
I would like to see TTX comeback with a Continental turbo-diesel🤸
Wow, the TTX is such s beautiful plane. A very nice shape! 😃
Great paint scheme.

I'm certainly having fun flying and upgrading this beast. Thanks for the comment.
This is one of the planes I plan on purchasing
Greetings Steve, is the lancair pressurized?
