In 25-30knts, Safely self-land your kiteboarding kite

Been using this since you posted your first video. I am amazed at kiters, much more experienced than me, who don’t know how to safely self-land. Thanks for teaching me this

Because with a buddy it is safer and not harming your kite

Also if you know your going to self land - set your flag out line to the side your gonna land on..
Can be dangerous if the kite flags/rolls upwards and catches a line on an obstacle :)

Greta tips. Please never walk between the lines of an unweighted or I held kite . I was near,y killed doing this . The kite took off after it was down and I had pulled the release . I felt lines catch around my body then bang , in 0.1 second , I was catapulted into a solid hard vertical. sand dune wall of stones and sand . Luckily at 45 degrees. My feet left no trace in the sand . I was on Tiree in the middle of nowhere.
