    Hey Keith! So my friend stumbled across your video and sent me a picture of the buck you shot! And when I saw those brow-tines, I thought of this huge buck that I caught in camera in 2016. The buck looked identical to this one and had a ton of brow-tines! I hadn’t watch the video yet, my friend just sent a picture. And I knew that the buck was killed by a trespasser, and I had no clue if you were the trespasser or what! Then I watched the video and realized it was at a ranch! Hahahaha! Great hunt!

    To those that are against High Fence hunting.. We have 1300 acres of high fence. Most of our hunting is for cull bucks, a majority are trophy deer. Ive sat in the stand and not seen a cull buck for 3-4 days sitting at a different feeder every time. Its like fishing with a slot limit on a lake. You may catch the fish but you cant keep them. We also do alot of hunting without bait. just woods stalking and rattling. Just because its high fence doesnt make the deer any less keen to human scent and human presence

    • @trent5327
      @trent5327 2 года назад +3

      You're saying that sitting 3-4 days between seeing a shooter is slow? With the aprs a lot of guys go weeks without seeing a legal buck, let alone a shooter. Oh, and us non high fence hunters aren't event allowed to bait, so we actually have to pattern deer instead of switching which feeder we sit at. It's not like fishing a lake with a slot limit, it's more like fishing the Cabela's aquarium lol.

    • @leadpilled5567
      @leadpilled5567 Год назад

      Even if true you get to control the genetics of the deer and cull what you want. I can let all the bucks with potential walk hoping for them to get another year or 2 on them but that doesn’t mean the guy on the next 40 doesn’t shoot them doesn’t mean that awesome 10pt you’ve been watching all summer doesn’t get hit by a car. Or that doe you’re going to shoot for the freezer doesn’t get spooked by the neighbors kid on a quad.

But my mission, right now, is to look after my old father, for that's what I only have in mind at this stage, for they become precious to their children; and to care for them, that's how it should be for every family in return; and then from there, I go where life takes me wherever that can be unless I change my mind. Sorry everyone, but I love him to bits, and for those who can relate, you know what I mean. Maybe, someday I will, God willing; for my feet are set upon a path on which I must follow, for I don't control time, it's not in my hands- so, we wait and see.

    I don't have a problem with any type of hunting. I've been hunting 25 years in a state with no baiting and only 1 deer per year during regular season. So an advantage would be nice sometimes. But knowing these deer are essentially farm animals it just seems wrong to call it hunting or pretend it's the same thing. Just call it what it is deer harvesting.

      Same here, from Canada and i hardly ever use bait. Dropped my first buck in 2021 on the last day of deer season. I respect their type of hunting but it looks way too damn easy, every video there are 4-5 good size bucks all sitting in one area whereas for me i head in the bush just hoping to see something even if i dont get anything.

    Calling an beautiful innocent animal a monster tells your viewers that you are the true monster. Hunting for food ok but for the kick as you show is monstrous. I have a nice true name for your rifle. MonsterMurderMachine.

    I would name the gun Ringo cause that was my black Germany Shepherd's name that was the greatest dog that ever lived.
    He meant so much to me that when I think of him I cry. So if you care so much for that gun name it Ringo , it will be faithful to you and never let you down.
