new ipad air supports 116 layers in procreate regardless of size choice so if you picked 128 gb it would be best for your buck probably + it now has m2 so hover is there too and size is the same now too. But the new pro will be much better for zbrush that is coming out later this year for ipad

It reduces the screen quality little bit, but you not gonna notice once you get used to

I don’t think the pro is worth it because the air supports the pencil pro as well.
They even took a camera so now the pro has one camera
