I probably would of sat up on that solo bridge since you asked but I don't think I would have gone to begin with since it seemed the group was surging to stay together over and over plus they had some studs. Well done and as always best commentating cycling channel out there!

Good thing this F1 track has bike lanes, smart to keep the Formula 1 traffic and bike traffic separated.
thats always the plan! I wish more of Melbourne had bike and car lanes seperated. Slowly we are getting there.

Nice Video! Is there any rule in place to prevent hitting the riders on the opposit site? Could not figure out a middle lane or something like that.
ideally, you stick to the left side of the road (in Aus) but it would be very, very rare for a head on crash.

What camera set up are you using? Anyone else who films their rides also, feel free to respond. I've wanted to start filming rides but no idea what to use.

Not sure really why you sat up…. It was the final meters…at some point you have to commit. You went from podium to last in 300 meters or less. Great video thou!
Why would you dive inside turn last turn kill momentum and not pull through. Killed race for bunch or racers.
