I have made Hamburger stew/soup . I normally add more meat, potatoes, whatever veggies I have on hand, carrots, corn, green beans etc. It is a good hardy recipe that so versatile. That you for sharing your take on this classic.

Ate a lot of Hamburger Soup as a kid. My mom would make a big pot on Friday, to get us through the weekend. I made it for my Dad when I did the cooking and still love a big pot when the weather is nasty. Thanks for your recipe!
You can add some velveeta cheese and you have cheeseburger soup. Looks so yummy.

I like to substitute either rice or macaroni for potatoes and some frozen corn for a different color!!
And for the cream version, add one pint of cream to that entire pot - you'd be surprised how delicious that actually is ;)

Add minced garlic with the meat, onion & celery (that way you can omit the garlic salt and powder) I would add green beans and corn. Also pinto beans instead of kidney

I have made about the same thing. Basically it is what I have on hand. But I called it slop soup. Sometimes it turns out OK and other times not so much.
Have you ever tried Canned Corn Beef Hash in place of the Hamburger? It's pretty good.
