A Special Message from Ambassador Michaelis on the Day of German Unity

Today, we are celebrating the Day of German Unity at the German Embassy in Washington. The two Germanys reunited over three decades ago, and reunification would have been impossible without the United States of America. On this occasion, Ambassador Michaelis shares a message with our American followers, thanking the US for always being a close and reliable ally to Germany. Happy Day of German Unity-to everyone!
