ありがとう ね
ミサは最高の文法先生だ。ミサの詳細な使用法の洞察は非常に役立ちるぜ。
¿where did you get the meaning of kanji ? The video it was interesting.
恋-魚? koi fish?
A fish in love?
high-key she did a language lesson with the cookies and it made me so happy, didn't even skip it.
This is my favorite so far. This is a great story of seasonal drunkenness, comets, shames and cleanings.
18 minutes passed so fast that I was surprised when the video ended. Amazing content, I hope you continue this!
I miss the Japanese history series!
Lovely and interesting video as usual 😊. You pronounced “langue de chat” properly in French. In France, we call these cookies that way because as opposed to the ones from your box which are squares, in France they are small and have an oblong shape, hence their name “cat tongue” = langue de chat...
Hey Jean Pierre Polnareff, t'as vraiment pas de race
OMG Here in the Philippines we have a biscuit called Lengua de Gato it's super popular and you always find it sold around tourist spots, it's the same shape as how you described it and the most interesting thing abt it is that it's called Cat's Tongue too but in Spanish.
Interesting. We have a kind of snack that translates to "cat's tongue" in Czech republic too. But in our case it's just tiny bars pure milk chocolate with oblong shape. So I guess the shape is important here.
Ahhhhhh, I saw biscuits in a game be referred to as cat tongues one time and was very confused >.< thank you for the explanation
Holy crap Misa this was so helpful. It's so cool seeing all the little dots just connect. Definitely do more kanji videos!
12:00 I was told that the "yo" part was actually the mountain kanji flipped sideways. Hence rain on mountain is snow
uP
not true. Many people mix their own mnemonics for remembering the kanji with the actual origin of the kanji. Kanji are old and numerous, hence many uncertain origins.
but im pretty sure it is broom 箒・帚・彗
@@DengueBurger That's how Chinese people explained me that character origin
that's not correct afaik, probably a folk etymology or just a mnemonic
@@b4ttlemast0r A Chinese girl herself told me that
Your channel is the reason i keep learing japanese language. 本当にありがとうございます。🤍
I just found your channel and your videos are so helpful. Thank you :) I hope to be fluent in the next few years and help others learn to learn Japanese
I love linguistics and etymology. This is just so fascinating. Thank you so much!
Are you bringing back the lost kanji series!
"Learn Kanji with Vocab" Those where the most helpful videos!
相変わらず、面白くて興味深い内容だけでなく、情熱的な教えで、再びミサが襲うね。熟語のレッスンについてすべてに与えて、詳細な説明を提供してくれました。 今、日本人にミサの教えた熟語を使って、彼らがどのように反応するかを見て興味のあるよ。お疲れ様でした
Thank you for making this lesson! Really enjoyed it!
Are you planning to continue doing history lessons too? I miss those lessons 😇
Your videos are just great ! Always a lot to learn from you. Thank you so much, Misa-san.
I get so excited whenever there is a notification from Misa sensei. Thank you for these lessons!
I'm from Brazil, I love your videos very neat, please more videos about kanji and its meanings i like that. it is difficult to find someone who knows the details of kanji, you are very inteligent.when you talk about ヨ it blow my mind
Yes! More Kanji lessons please!
i got so happy when i guessed the word 冬眠 (hibernation). i felt like i accomplished something yessss.
Loved how Misa really know all this knowledge and explain it so that became easier to understand.
This is a great video! I really want to learn more vocabulary, and how to use the vocabulary correctly in a sentence. I am an unusual Japanese student, because I LOVE Kanji! 😊 Please give me more!
Whew! That was a lot to take in.
Misa: But wait! There's more!
My pleasure that Misa sensei keeps posting videos even that i dont have time to watch them all. Thank you sensei
I loved it. you're a fantastic teacher. 😇
ミサ先生、本当にどうもありがとうございました! I genuinely loved watching this video. Please do more Jukugo etymology in the future お願いします!I'm not only interested in learning Japanese, but the linguistic evolution of the language (namely from classical to modern Japanese).
it's cool you did words relating to winter
More! More! More! 😍😍 thank you sensei!!
みさ先生、ありがとうございました。この語源の動画が大好き!
Absolutely love those kanjis videos ! I'm having trouble learning kanjis for N4 and N3 T_T. Never remember when to use OnYomi or KunYomi...
Love the video, very useful as always!
Since I'm Chinese, learning kanji is easier bcuz most of the writing and meaning is the same in Mandarin but the pronunciation is not🤣ところでみさ先生今日もうお疲れ様でした!!
Thanks for all the vids they are real helpful love u misa sensei❤️💛 saludos desde México 🇲🇽
I was *just* thinking about cancelling or at least putting a hold on my Bokksu subscription to save money but I'm a sucker for Japanese snacks especially when Misa shows them on her videos!
今月も買っちゃった
おいしすぎてるね(笑)
Another great lesson. Thank you very much.
I find learning the etymology of kanji like these helps with memorising them, so thanks misa.
Oh I know someone who will love bokksu, she is who inspired me to try & learn japanese. It's how I learned ohishi
I laugh when others think she said oh 💩 lol. Arigato Gozaimasu for the lesson Misa sensei 😁
Thanks to this video I learned these cool new words 雪辱 雪ぐ. 勉強になりました
Misa this was a great lesson! I learned a lot. There were so many unique kanji I didn't know before. Thank you!
Misa-san, thank you for giving the Yomi for each kanji about which you talked in this video. I'm totally blind, and I'm not able to actually look at kanji. The readings help me, because now I know what to type in order to access the jukugo. Doumo!
I knew koibito from Yukko Okada's 恋人たちのカレンダー, Lover's Calendar. Thanks for the video, and the pitch video last time.
Lover's Calendar
The bottom of both yuki and houki looks like stuff piled up on the ground. And the (less commonly used kanji) for houki looks like the bristles a broom would use to sweep it away.
This video was so interesting! Thank you! 😊
みさ先生
This lesson is fantastic. Please make some more like this one.
どうもありがとうございます
Sensei, could you explain the old Numerical System to us, please?
Amazing intro! 😍
Yes!!! I love this, please do more!!! Thank you for teaching me & thanks to you, I got my first bokksu for my birthday :) すべてが本当に超おいしいでした、ありがとうございました!
Really like this episode! Thank you.
I've been seriously studying kanji for a few months through mnemonics and suddenly this video pops up! Absolutely interesting, I loved it since 熟語 are quite hard to get sometimes (@_@;)
This reminded me to always check on secondary meanings of individual kanji to understand a compound meaning, I'd definitely love to see more of this content!❤️
12:54 ... my interpretation is that you clearly see rain falling and making layers ... I dont find it especially difficult to interpret.
Ahahahha as a French, I assure you Misa you pronounced it really well !
C’est super ! 🇫🇷🇯🇵🎌
ありがとうございますみさ先生🍎
Thank you that was very interesting! It's fun to repeat the readings while getting surprised by new combinations and meanings! :)
I'm kinda always thinking about why words look the way they do in Chinese, but Japanese explanations (sometimes a little different??) are also pretty interesting~
I sometimes try to ask/explain what I think to my mom, and she's usually like "yeah, maybe, how am i supposed to know?"
As someone who sucks at remembering how to write characters, I thought it's easier for ppl who know how to write to understand, but I guess it's more like an unconscious process
[there's this rly strange Chinese keyboard that's like 金火水土人, which I thought was interesting, but I think most ppl probably don't use since it's much easier to just write or use the 3x3 keypad......I think maybe I was a little too obsessed w/ educational chinese shows - I remem er rly liking that one segment where they had explanation from the 'elephant bone characters' (象骨文字?? The really squiggly and round type of style you might see in rly old styled calligraphy/maybe like the rly old 'ancient' stuff in periodical dramas) to the more modern characters - sth like "人 looks like a person (hence it means person/people), but at first it looked even more like a person"]
What a great way to learn kanji! Thank you! 役に立ちました!
I got to one point that we never use the word 素面 in greece but the negation of 酔っている so its gotten to a word which is seldom used in daily conversations and idk why. Btw. I didnt knew the word in greek either until now...
I loved it so much !!
ありがとうございます!
いつもお疲れ様です!❤❤
I loved this!
Ooh, Misa has got some
Hi Misa, your lessons are great! This is only a speculation, but is it possible that "to fall in love" is taken from English? If would depend, of course, on how old the idiom is in Japanese. Thanks!
面白いって思った人はここにいますhaha! いつもありがとうございます :D
Thanks again!
More please!
面白かったので、心配しないで下さい、みさ先生!
Why would anyone dislike this
白い恋人を食べたことあります!父が日本へ出張して、帰る時は白い恋人を買いました。本当に美味しかったです!日本へ行ったら、絶対買います!
Langue de chat, 猫の舌, it s usually longer, has a cat tongue shape so we call it langue de chat.
13:23 䨮
That was amazing)
ありがとう。面白いですよ。:D
Please. Make. More!!!!!
完璧!
Can't wait to (re)learn Kanji.
You never did get around to making a video on 連濁 explaining sequential voicing.
7:56 did somebody said "YO- U"?
I like it.
ありがとうございました
i saw this video and interesting.
I've always viewed 雨 as a window with drops of rain on the outside of the glass
I would confuse it with 窓 that way... for me it is just the upper part of 雲 (speaking of rain.. there has to be *clouds*")
It doesn't matter how you remember your kanji, everyone has their own way to remember things, If you do it with raindrops on the window and it works for you keep doing it.
@@jasondilles3507 Absolutely, I just thought it'd be fun to share
@@Mighteyes Yeah, it's fun... Do you use the RTK method too? I just saw that many use the "towel" radical to remember it... kanji.koohii.com/study/kanji/%E9%9B%A8
連濁 (れんだく)
濁点 (だくてん) (゛)
点々 (てんてん)
hella gnarly
Did Misa just casually drop the word bankai and then act like there wasn't lots of people hoping she'd elaborate
Love you misa
Thanks u so much for another great lesson!>//
unfeckingbelievabl
Your "white lover" is French, like me ;) "CHOCOLAT BLANC ET LANGUE DE CHAT" = 白いショコラと猫の舌
The Japanese character for "to return" "帰る" also has a mini-"yo" as does its Chinese simplified counterpart "gui" 归
I can find episode 5+ of the kanji lessons. Is it RUclips being weird or is it not there?
2:26 It's so delicious. 😃😍😍😍
すごいです❤😊✌
面白いですねぇ
Langue du chat = 猫舌
I am vegetarian, is that Bokksu safe for me?
熟語 (じゅくご)
熟字 (じゅくじ)
Its half past midnight in my country right now but ig I'm staying up till 1 now👁👄👁

@@aozora_2k Yes 👁👅👁
How many kanjis you know?

As if kanji isn't mendoxai enough now there is jukugyo...
What is jukyugyo?
