My favorite part in this song besides the great harmonies is Tim's bass. He starts singing so low in his solo & then slides up into a beautiful tenor voice. No one does that better. All Peter's collaborations with Home Free & his duets with Tim are awesome!
How beautiful is this!! If you're having a hard day, listen to this. Your day will bring hope and light again! Peter Hollens and Home Free the perfect match for this song. One by one they sound great. Chills. The sense of calm comes to me, especially Rob's voice. The best performances I've heard of this song A Hymn I grew up with. It was sung at the funeral of my father, who died 3 days before my 6th birthday. I don't remember much about that day, but that this song was sung I do.
Wasn't that beautiful?! Probably the best version I have ever heard. 6 beautiful voices. People who aren't familiar with Tim are stunned by his range. Peter and HF did 2 versions of 19 You and Me - one on each of their channels. Have you seen the Peter/Chance collab of Country Roads?
Fridays are special -- lots of Home Free. But today we get Peter Hollens as well. This is a great arrangement of a song, time immemorial. What beautiful voices. Thank you for this one. eov
I believe this version, as performed - probably the best I've heard, ever!!!! Very pleasing! --- Then again, when you bring Peter into the mix ... things don't really change so much - but OH MY!!! Who arranged, not sure or can't remember, a little part wants to say Tim but it's not clear (this brain/head thing does that). 19 You and Me is the other collab with Peter - 2 versions, one on HF's page and 1 on Peter's... and they are different! Be Safe
With Christmas rapidly approaching, I have 2 must listen suggestions; Angels We Have Heard On High (phenomenal arrangement, incredible chords and harmonies and a master class from Tim on bass) and Joy To The World from 2013 (gospel Rob will blow your mind and this jazzy rendition has some amazing harmonies). Thanks for another great reaction Cole!
The other one is 19 You & Me (Dan & Shay cover ) There is one version on Home Free’s Channel ft Peter Hollens And one version on Peter’s Channel ft Home Free I prefer the one on Home Free’s channel because of the sweet story line 😊
I love this! So beautifully done. Everyone got a chance to sing and it was wonderful. I don’t know who arranged it but it was so good. Peter has a beautiful voice and he and Tim sing a lot together. They released an album together. Try And So It Goes, Greensleeves, Blackbird. Good reaction Cole!😍🥰
Absolutely fabulous version of this classic hymn. Thanks for great reaction and yes you should try a work more of Peter’s song in your rotation. I miss your Thursday comment review video but you keep up the great reaction. You have a blessed day
Watching Peter with Home Free is so special! Peter and Tim have done enough collaborations for an album. I would love to see your reaction to Dan Vasc’s version of Amazing Grace. Thanks, Cole!
@@itzel1735 Yes! I have it but couldn’t remember the name of it when I was making the comment. I think it’s called Beautiful something. The case is in my car and I am out of town in my daughter’s car.
I love their rendition of this hymn. The singing & harmonies are just gorgeous. My favourite part is all of it. When Austin was a kid he sometimes traveled & sang with his father's gospel quartet in Georgia - so if it feels like he takes you to church, he comes by it honestly! Tim Foust's collaboration with Chris Rupp on "Long Black Train" is terrific too (on Chris's channel).
Images for this were used to kick off the Hollens-HF collaboration "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For" (with very special guests). This was done before lockdown, but Looking was done during lockdown, so all the singers had to sing and video separately, with Peter (and his team?) combining them separately. The use of images of them singing together in this video fit so well the mood of the lockdown that what we all wanted during that time was to be able to get together.

Peter is a exceptionally talented gentleman , and when combined with the talents in Home Free , this is phenomenal , it’s amazing , love it
Ccole, it's Home Free at their very best....I have it in my Will that this be played at my memorial service
I don't know who arranged this song just that it is beautiful with six people just singing.
I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For is another Peter and Home Free collaboration.
Everything about this is phenomenal.

Peter and Tim have a whole album of duets that are mind blowingly beautiful!

Beautiful rendition! I liked the verse in the lower range. Wow! 😊
Peter and Tim are coming out with a new album together ❤
I can't remember if you reacted to Home Frees version of OH Holy Night but I think you'll love it ❤
Excellent! Love this collaboration between HomeFree and Peter Hollens. Thanks, Cole, for reacting. eov!

Pretty darned awesome, right? It's always been a favorite hymn of mine, but this has to be my favorite rendition.
Great reaction as always! Tim and Peter have so many great duets that they even put out a full album of those.
yes Cole they collabed with Peter on Dan + Shay's great hit "19 you and me" it's pretty dang awesome
How beautiful is that?! I never tire of this one❤❤❤
Gives me chills every time!!! ❤

Just because, I'd love to hear each man sing his own version of Amazing Grace. That would be a treat. Good reaction as always. EVOC

I like the progression.
I cannot remember hearing a rendition of this song that I liked better. This is the way to sing "Amazing Grace."
Beautiful rendition of this much loved song. They are amazing. So versatile.
More Avi please?😅
Not sure if you checked it out,but Peter Hollands And Tim. Song is called Evergreen. Love it!!!!
