Im so glad you done this. I dont know if it was due to my request through paypal or the countless other people who would have requested. Love from Australia
This mature female feels about Timothy the way you feel about Austin. His bass just puts me over the edge. His speaking voice is just as appealing. Peter Hollens is a one man acapella group. He layers his voice up to 100 times. He's a vocal magician.
That is how I feel about Chris and Adam Rupp! The way the can go from beautiful tenor vocals, to beatboxing to layering, to stuff that causes me to scream with joy! Love it!
Tim's "Dragon Breath" at the end is chilling & disturbing at the same time. His voice is a revelation, and Peter is the master of layering. Home Free & Peter have collaborated several times, as have Tim & Peter....check out Peter & Home Free doing a cover of the U2 song, still haven't found what I am looking for....it's amazing
These types of old medieval harmonies never cease to transport us. It’s why choirs sang chants like this in Gothic churches back then. People felt like they were in Heaven.
The first time I listened to this my mind went immediately to Gregorian chants. Those chants were designed to take the listener into an altered state of consciousness so they could connect with the divine. I think Peter and Tim may have accomplished that here as well. Loved your reaction.
A fun fact for you. They filmed in different locals due to Tim being on tour. They use cameras on tripods. The last note that Tim hits made the camera shake in the cave he filmed in.
Tim has done other collaborations with Peter. Greensleeves, Fire and Rain, Sounds of Silence and Bridge over Troubled Water. Also Amazing Grace and I Still Haven't Found What I'm looking For with Home Free.
Peter Hollens is another amazing rabbit hole to fall down. He has done some amazing stuff with Home Free. You have the best reactions keep them up. Oh and keep an eye out for Peter commenting on this reaction. He has a tendency to pop up and reply.
I'm so glad you did this one! I get the chills every time I listen to it. Peter's voice has a way of taking you whereever he is! He records every single part of the vocals and then layers them so his solo stuff is all him. Yes, Tim shook the earth with that dragons breath! Lol. Keep diving into Peter's stuff and you'll find a few songs with Tim that show off his range all over! There's even one with their wives too! Peter actually was on the sing off in a group as well so knows quite a few of the guys from there. He's got some songs with Home Free, one with Avi, one or two with Chance too. But his solo stuff is great as well! So glad you felt that song and his talent! 🙂
I highly recommend subscribing to Peter Hollens' channel. He's a delightful person and he's just so ultra talented. I recommend the following highly: "Shenandoah" (solo), "The Hobbit Drinking Medley" (with Hank Green), "The Disney Villain Medley" (with Whitney Avalon). Anything Peter does is gold.
Thank you for reacting to this! Two of the most talented men in the world! Would you please react to - "BRIDGE OVER TROUBLED WATER?" The sheer beauty of their voices is almost spiritual! I find myself in tears every time I hear Tim and Peter sing this! There is something special about the way their voices blend. It is truly breathtaking! At times when I listen to them singing this song I will have to deliberately remind myself to take a breath because I had not realized that I was Not breathing!
This is insanely good. If you stare at Tim at the end the camera shakes. Peter is a master of layering voices. He has about 120 tracks on this….sounds like a choir. He and Tim have many collaborations- Sound of Silence, Greensleeves, Bridge over Troubled Water, Fire and Rain and he has songs with Home Free…Amazing Grace and I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For. Love your voice. This was filmed in two different locations, Peter in Oregon and Tim in the Cayman Islands in Hell Canyon (no kidding). Tim looks like he wants to kill us. This song is from the Hobbit. Great reaction!
Peter is one of a kind, incredibly talented. His vocal range extends from bass/baritone up to soprano (in his falsetto). His arrangements are creative and unique.
Thanks for this reaction my friend 👍. Tim and Peter and Home Free have done several collabs together, I still haven't found what I'm looking for being one of them. Great job 👏👍
Well I don't have anything different to say that the others below haven't already said. I agree with how you felt first seeing Peter and Tim doing this song. That is what I felt the first time and that hasn't changed yet. I have watched the heck out of this song. ;) They are both amazing. Thank you very much for a terrific reaction.
If you're interested, they've done other collaborations together. My favorite is "Greensleeves"...I would love to see you react to that one because hardly anyone has! It's a shame too because they did the video in ONE take because they wanted to capture the incredible view at that moment. I especially think you'll like this one because in it,not only do you hear Tim's amazing bass, but you also get to hear his unbelievable higher range! Together with Peter's beautiful vocals, it's TRANSCENDENT!! If I could afford to, I would request it by Pay Pal but unfortunately I cant and I'm sorry. I hope you will maybe react to it anyway. They also do "Bridge Over Troubled Water". As a matter of Fact, Peter has collaborated with Home Free on a couple, in particular, "Amazing Grace"!! I hope you'll consider these. Thank you for such a heart felt, moving reaction. I enjoyed it immensely! 💗
Oh yes I love their version of Greensleeves. Its one of my favourite songs from my childhood. Both Peter & Tim sound amazing And it's video is awesome & in a great location, shot in one take too.
The first time I heard this song I didn’t like it because it was so dark. But after hearing it several times, I realized how beautiful it is! I think all of Peter’s and Tim’s songs are great; their voices are so good together! Thanks for your great reaction!
Hello sir! I don't remember who said it, but Peter and Tim weren't even in the same place when they put this together. I believe Tim was somewhere in Haiti doing another video when Peter approached him about this. They did the recording and Peter has around 120 layers in this song to make it sound the way it does. Keep doing what you're doing man. I love your reactions.
One of my favorite collabs ever! Tim & Peter complement each other so well in this song it's insane! Though fairly short. check out Peters' version of 'Dragonborn', it's stellar!
Loved your reaction...after hearing this song I became a loving fan of Peter's work. Home Free has my heart, but Peter has his own little niche. Add their voices together and it is sheer heaven. Example: Peter and HF singing Amazing Grace for one.
I absolutely enjoy your videos. With that said, this song I was waiting for that last note. You didn't disappoint my brother. Keep doing you, my friend. That's what keeps me coming back.
Glad you finally got to hear this performance by Peter & Tim. Peter has collaborated with Home Free a bit and you should give a listen to their Amazing Grace and I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For. Thank you for this reaction, Cheers!
Great reaction! Loved the "clutch the pearls" moment @5:10 🤣. Did you notice when you were having your mind blown with Tim's dragon note at the end, the camera was actually shaking? If you go see them live, if you can get a seat near the front, by the subwoofers, its the same! Earth-rattling awesomeness!

Great reaction I'm glad you got to experience this masterpiece 👍🍻😁
This song is from the movie "The Hobbit". If you haven't seen the movie, it's still beautiful and excellently done. But if you've seen the movie, it's even more emotional because you know and understand exactly who's singing it and what it's about. Yes, every time I hear this, I'm taken back to the movie and I get goosebumps on my goosebumps.
To get to those low notes, your name has to be Tim. Current the Guinness world record for the lowest note is by a TIM Storm. He registers at a G7. Tim Foust is registered (as far as we know) at a G1. So, it’s all about being named TIM. 😬
He's done quite a few songs like Danny Boy and Loch Lomond which are great and also covers of songs from Skyrim & The Witcher. As with Home Free nothing disappoints. Great reaction.

Two favorite Peter Hollens collaborations are "Disney Villains" with Whitney Avalon of Princess Rap Battles fame and "What I'm Looking For" with Home Free.
This is such a stirring and emotional song. Sung correctly, as they both do, and with the amount of deep emotion that they put into it…it is like a religious experience of sorts. Beautifully sung. And the anticipation I felt for you to heat Tim’s last note kept me hyped up. Your reaction left nothing to be desired.
