😆😆 Welcome aboard Rob. Great video. Looks like you got a great bundle there 😃. Thanks for the shoutout. And i love your approach of doing it off the bat and not getting saturated with advice from others (its the absolute best way to learn). A great display of its capabilities, you should get some good feedback from Creality for this one 😁. Have fun with it and stay safe mate 😁👍. (Shout if you need anything 😁)
I could have lots of fun with one of these but I don't have the room, just as well as I have enough projects to finish 😒Great vlog and review though and I can see you using this a lot! Keep up the great work, thank you, Richy 😀👍
Oh wow, I do have a bolt on laser module here somewhere, but I don't have the room in my tiny shed for it so I've never used one. I like your approach of just opening the box and following the instructions so people get a true view of the product.
What a cool tool. Thanks for the review and how to. Looks like you'll be spending more time in the shed! I think you're going to need a bigger shed though. 😂
Once again…a great ‘no nonsense’ vlog for the set up of a great piece of kit! I’ve been using a Sculpfun laser for just over a year and they’re great for template making! With care you can cut anything including card and paper! In fact I’ve seen several Pinterest ideas for burning logo designs onto coir door mats!! I’d recommend air assist and low power though! Enjoy …it’s a great underrated workshop tool! 👍👍👍
Hi Rob, New toy mate, looks a good one. Now the ideas will be endless brackets and fixing you can make for the shed, tool holders shed signs if you think about it you can make it. Looks straight forward to assemble and easy enough to use, now go and have fun. As always a great video, catch you soon Take care
Hey Rob.....fair play to you mate....... technical things are not my bag....im such a luddite ....I only recently got an Alexa thing because they no longer played Greatest Hits radio on my telly!!!....... I would like one though......one day!
I'm a fellow Luddite too, I'd like to be able to use one but I have zero interest in computers. I haven't even turned one on for about ten years, if you gave me one I'd probably use it as a hammer 🔨.
Hi Adam, To be honest I’m ok on computers , but never used light burn.., but once you’ve got the basics down.. and how and why the values change, it’s a doddle, but I’m only about 3% into light burn so far , the machine itself though.. really easy.👍cheers Rob
Great video Rob. Now, I have a question. That camera… It’s being used to position the engraving on the workpiece. Could you drop a spanner on a piece of material, & trace around it in Lightburn? Like to make a cutout in Kaizan foam, or plywood to make inserts for a toolbox drawer?
Cracking video rob you smashed it. Got few more bits and tricks can give you as well as 300 files like i said although i want that rocket file in return 😂 hit me up when you can we can sort a video call or sommit oot cheers 👍🏴
Great news on the free tool! I hope you have hours of fun with it, and don't blame you for taking it and making content/thingamajigs with it... However, I came to the channel for the cheap and accessible tools, and this is far from it. There are a million and one channels out there that only buy the most expensive tools that only someone with an acre of land and an airplane hanger could possibly afford. So I will skip this video personally. Please don't take this comment the wrong way, I don't blame you for doing it.... I will just wait for the videos that I subscribed for. Cheap tools, and shed bodging. Love the channel, keep it up
Hi buddy, I totally understand, I should have explained more in the video.. I have loads more cheap tool / shed bodging videos on the way😃 I might just mix it up occasionally on different tools . Appreciate your subscription.. watch this space 😉👍 Cheers Rob
@@WeekendShedHead no need to explain at all. I totally understand, I would bite the hand of anyone that gave me a free laser cutter haha. You do a great job man, keep it up
I can see some signs being lasered with led lights behind them coming up. I have a little 5w laser I've had for a couple of years brilliant bit of kit. The hardest part was learning light burn in the beginning but such a big program still learning. So much information on you tube at your fingertips now days though. By the way how is Mark going with his piles. Steve
😂👍I think you’re right mate.. great to hear from other laserers .. marks ok, he’s just massively busy at the minute .. but all good. I think he’s done his piling 😂👍 Cheers Rob

Hi Rob… Early Christmas Presents..😂Gee wiz looks some piece of kit. A huge step up from Parkside😂😂
Hi Mate, yep 😂 I’m really blown away either way how easy it is to use.. hours of fun , not a parkside one yet 😂., cheers Rob
Hey Steven...... Thought I was the only one still using Gee Whiz!!! brilliant!
Great video Rob.

I pretty sure you could Denis , as the camera is very accurate.. I’m going to try that, great idea 👍 cheers Rob
