I have an Aunt that is from England and a trifle is one of there go to desserts so I have had many trifles growing up as a child but now at 50 I truly forgot about them and in so glad I came across MeMe's video because I'm gonna make it for vacation thanks for sharing, it looks delicious. I am planning on making this trifle for Memorial day. However I am very bad at picking the right size bowl. Could anybody please help me? How big/deep does the bowl need to be?
This may seem like a Dumb question but can anyone tell me how do you keep this lovely dish chilled if your bringing it to a picnic or a barbecue ? Just wondering cause usually people are filling up on the main course and chatting it up etc, while the dessert is waiting.
Keep refrigerated until time to leave. If it’s just going to be an hour or so, you should be fine. If it’s going to be longer, pack ice around the bowl and cover with a towel.👍🏻😋🙂❤️
I like cream cheese but I don’t think that it has to go with everything dessert that you make. This looks really good and is perfect for summer but I think that I would slightly modify the recipe a bit probably omit the cream cheese and then get a couple of cans of strawberry pie filling and pour that over the fresh strawberries
