  • Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park is located close to the West Entrance of Yellowstone, Montana and walking distance to the small town of West Yellowstone. Big rig friendly and well maintained, this is a great location for taking in the sites of Yellowstone National Park.
The park is pet friendly with pet stations located throughout the park. Lots of green grass (at least in September when we were here) and beautifully maintained sites. West Yellowstone is located at 6600 feet above sea level, so nights were already in the 30's when we were here.
Yellowstone National Park west entrance gate is only four short blocks away, with dining, shopping and attractions within easy walking distance. Just a couple blocks away are the Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center, IMAX Theatre, Museum and Historic Center as well as the exciting aerial ropes adventure course.
West Yellowstone is situated within a short driving distance to many beautiful points of interest inside Yellowstone National Park and the nearby Gallatin National Forest. The numerous lakes, streams and rivers in the area offer some of the best fly fishing in the United States. Other outdoor activities in the area include horseback riding, mountain biking, hiking, float trips and guided tours of Yellowstone Park.
If you are looking for a great place to stay either on your own or with a group, we recommend you check out this lovely RV Park.

Looks like a very nice RV park campground. Thanks for the info and I know it will be helpful for my trip to Yellowstone next year. Take care and continued safe travels.

we have stayed there many times. The only thing that is bad is that they always are watering the grass as I am unhooking to go in early so you might get wet and it is cool in the early morning.

I'd stay there! Looks amazing! I'm guessing the bear is representing the name of the park? Maybe? That or a warning!

Warning for sure. A Bear broke into somones home in West Yellowstone a week before we arrived. After leaving here we went to the Tetons and had a Bear and Moose in our campground. No worries though, we took the pup's out one at a time and had bear spray at the ready.

Avoid the north side, these sites are across from a very busy lumber yard. You guys mention this, I would like to emphasize, avoid it.

Thanks for the emphasis, didn't know what it was exactly but now it makes sense.

How difficult was it to get a site? Did you have to make a reservation right at the opening of availability the year before?

I mean in the summer season. I see you were there in the fall.

We went as part of a group, so reservations were made for us already. It's a busy park, but I would check their website.
