My family attended this game and the Notre Dame fans were polite and respectful before and after the game. Notre Dame is first class for visiting teams.

And to put the nail in the coffin ND season was effectively over after the loss to Marshall. They had no chance to compete in the playoff after that loss and that's still true.

More proof of the problems with the Rivals "star system" of rating talent. There's a tremendous amount of talent out there each year that goes unnoticed or grossly under-ranked by Rivals. A good eye for talent on the coaching staff of these smaller schools can produce teams like this by picking those out who fell through the cracks.
