Wow.... I think I learned more here how to sound more 'bluesy' than any other single one video. Guitar guy trying to get some harp chops down. I wasn't quite getting that 'wah wah' sound quite right, but now I can...sort of. lol.
I like harmonica . Don't have to hold in your lap or plug it in, change up settings, can bring it anywhere. Fits in your pocket.
This guy is a most excellent teacher.

Thanks for this lesson. I picked up the harmonica a little while ago and started to learn how to hit single notes and I can play some simple tunes, but with this lesson I'm starting to sound bluesy. There's hope for me yet...lol Thanks for the awesome video

If nothing else, your video has convinced me that I should not be discouraged if I struggle to learn a simple lick! I've been playing my own riffs for over 40 years, but even you admit that the techniques you show us--slow, deliberate repetition--are the same ones YOU used to learn. Which is good because I want to branch out from my own, stale sound and incorporate new sounds I like. Thanks! [Subscribed]

Playing for 2 days now. After buying the cheapest set i could find with a Harmonica in every (12) key. Learning the octave was one thing. Thank you, this makes me feel i'm actualy playing something. Also because it takes some practice but isn't to hard :D
I actually think it sound way better in the key of D. But that is a personal thing i guess :)

I will say that I like you, and I think you are pretty descriptive and helpful when it comes to explaining the notes and how to bend and unbend. It's just your scale on the wall that gets confusing because you're kind of all over the place in a way and you bounce around and that makes it a bit difficult to follow if you're not paying very close attention. I dig it for the most part and I also appreciate it. Thank you!
