The Mod looks absolutely amazing, well done! 100 Bosses and Dungeons is crazy ambitious, but I love the idea! 👀 Also, great presentation in the video showing off your Mod!
Your next dungeon should be a burning camp, with remixed mobs that heal from fire instead. The rewards would be frost-themed enchantments to replace those unavailable enchants. The boss should be an ashen general, who will single out a player in a group to run the ones, the general should also get angry at any BM (crouch spamming, egg throwing, unarmed fighting). To counter people who would use fire resistance, have the mobs of the dungeon inflict debilitating debuffs on players, forcing them to use milk. They should also have an intense hatred towards snow golems, always targeting them when they spot them. Enchantments: Cold Aspect (Sword, Axes), Coldsnap (Bows, Crossbows), Chilling (Leggings), and Unchanting (Swords, Axes, Bows, and Crossbows). Loot: Unburied Armor (gives instant swing speed while on fire), Host Banner (heals user and nearby allies and cures burning), Totem of Recollection (Place down to save all experience, has three charges), and Downfall Armor Trim (battle worn appearance). Rating: Mid-Late game dungeon. I don't know if I should recommend ideas, but if it doesn't hurt, feel free to use this I don't mind not being given credit.
I'm a modder myself, but as a player, I've never enjoyed content mods that add hostile mobs (I'm usually very into tech mods, and mob mods always end up adding some unexpected mechanic that ends up being more of a jump scare). That said - this video is really well done, the content here seems very well thought out, and I honestly would give this a shot if I ever found myself playing with the mod installed. It has the right amount of vanilla feel while still adding unique content. Really looking forward to how this develops.
finally a showcase video from the dev of the mod that isn't just 2 minutes of showing whats in the mod, but instead going into details of what items do, exact values and SHOWCASING mechanics great work. def gonna put this in a RPG modpack at some point
Now, im not gonna lie, I dont believe your gonna make 100 dungeons and bosses (Of this quality), but if you do, you will have the single best and most essential dungeon mod on planet earth.
from just this tiny fraction of the mod i truly believe this could become one of if not the best structure and exploration mods ever, it's really got everything vanilla feel and balance, great game mechanics that give the players the choice to play as they like, beautiful mob design both for the textures and features, interesting boss concepts. Can't wait for new updates, i wish you the best for this project!
I absolutely love how the mechanics of the boss fight question the player's usual strategies and force them to come up with new ones. It reminds me of how the water and Mining Fatigue of the underwater temples make it more difficult to just mine or explode your way in. The ghost bullets prevent walling up, the diamond notches prevent camping with arrows (also I love love love incorporating mining into the battle like that, I can imagine a fully enchanted pick makes the fight much easier), and even while typing this I just realized... the ground pound encourages covering up the spikes so you don't die, but then the mobs won't fall down either! There's still prep that can be done, but the mechanics make it all a lot less trivial. If every dungeon and boss has this level of thought put into this, this mod will be absolutely insane. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with next!
I knew your idea was to update the mod over time and increase the % of the name with each update. However I thought this vid would just cover the very basic stuff and that's why it was only 1%, so when as the vid went on and you showed more stuff and then at the end when you said you were updating 1% at a time with the goal being 100 dungeons... yep, you have my subscription and support. can't wait to see this develop into a staple of minecraft mods
I was and currently am a huge DNL fan. Was pretty disappointed when i saw DNL didn't update to 1.20. But this, THIS is so much better. Not only has the Labrynth been reworked from the ground up, but there are so many more features in this structure than the Labyrinth's data pack counterpart. And the fact this is only ONE structure makes me so much more excited to see what you will do to the other structures in DNL. Keep it up Hex!
if you go through with it, it's probably going to be my favourite mod ever (current being ice and fire and lyconite's mobs). It looks insanely promising! If i could suggest one thing: Crank up the rewards. The one thing i hate about mods that add awesome boss fights and dungeons is when you go through it just to walk out the other side with nothing gained. Other than the pet, 16 diamonds and some xp are not gonna entice me to fight that cool boss again. Make it drop blocks of good recourses and vanilla spawners. It's modded minecraft mob drops and vanilla resources don't amount to much when you get going. But imagine killing that and getting a lot of things to justify the time it takes to do it. Essentially make it more rewarding than mining, that way i'm always going to be excited when i see the structure instead of "oh i did it once and got everything so now i can just ignore it". Just a suggestion, looking forward to see what you make!
I feel like adding a new armor type is pretty cliche for an update, but I must admit you won me over with the whimper. Everything about this mod is super cool; from the sprawling maze dungeon to the new blocks, mobs, bosses, and mechanics. I really like the format you used to display mob stats, crafting recipes, and mechanics. I love this concept, and I’m eager to see what you cook up next.
You have a lot of work to do if you plan to create 100 of these (and kudos to you for your resourcefulness). I don't know about it in the program but you could maybe make some places be connected to each other or some of the objects and enemies would be used for several places. This will both add to the uniformity of the mod and make it easier for you. I'm sure you've already thought of using some of the traps in the other dungeons. But it looks amazing
Love the design man, glad you popped off, since you're making 100 different dungeons for this mod, might as well pitch in an idea from me to make a volcanic themed dungeon. Keep it up.
Im not doubting you or something, but since this singular dungeon took you over 1 year of work, dont you think you will need a whole team for the 100 dungeons? because i really hope you dont focus on quantity over quality! anyways, good job, this is truly flabbergasting!
I played dungeon now loading religiously over a year ago and was so sad when you stopped posting videos and updates. Coming back to find this is the best thing I could’ve asked for
This is an insane amount of content already for just one percent. You've got amazingly simple yet logical designs for new mobs without completely making the dungeon feel like something you couldn't find or even design within vanilla minecraft. The weapons are balanced and make sense within the context of the dungeon, although I foresee that they won't hold up against some of the scaling mods and modpacks out there so this mod might mainly be for the population that likes a slightly enhanced vanilla experience. I also really appreciate the thought put into small details like multiplayer scaling, certain blocks being uncraftable, and even config changeable settings. You've got a really good framework here, and I'm excited to see more in the future!
Now THIS is a very promising mod. It’s a really cool concept for the mob spawner… and I feel like a good idea is to expand on this idea of dungeons based off of previously existing features… like enchanting or… beacons for example… I don’t have discord currently… (due to complicated reasons) so… I want to give some ideas for future dungeons and features here in this comment. Imagine a dungeon based off of enchanting… and books. This dungeon is called “the library” an above ground structure with a small house and a librarian. But lo, there is a secret basement hidden beneath all the knowledge. If the player dares to go down to this dungeon they will face the consequences of the greed for knowledge. Facing books the are enchanted with the ability to fly. Villagers corrupted by the knowledge of the cursed books . And even a boss found at the end, based off of the enchanting table. That’s the basic concept and if I get anymore ideas for this dungeon I’ll reply to this comment about it. And if you like my idea please respond, I like being a positive influence on the community even if I just give personal thoughts on ideas and things.
Ooooh got another (this was quick) what if you could get INCREDIBLY powerful enchantments in this structure… like custom enchantments that are definitely way too OP… but there’s a catch… they all have a curse. Whether it be the already existing curse of vanishing or binding… or the dreaded curse of blinding and slipping. These curses will come with every enchantment in this dungeon, leading players to consider whether or not to use these enchantments or to discard them.
Ok… I’m back with more!!! The cursed books are deadly flying books with the unique ability to have different enchantments. For example a fire aspect book has the ability to set the player on fire… another like mending can collect exp to heal itself… and frost walker will freeze nearby water sources. (They will drop their respective books on death) The villagers that are cursed with the knowledge of the dungeon are called knowledge keepers. They will use several attacks related to enchanting like sending a barrage of words at you that deal damage or healing itself. And it can heal itself with exp. The final boss of the dungeon is the ideologer. The Illager that was blinded by the pure idea of knowledge. He is a very powerful Illager. Him in his large library. You need an enchanted key in order to get inside of his chamber. (This key is dropped by knowledge keepers) the ideologer uses an assortment of attacks like summoning cursed books to attack, shooting powerful lasers at you, giving you different effects to further annoy you, he even has a final attack when he is almost dead… the floor gets deleted and the player falls… forever… while the ideologer is throwing everything he has at them… if the players are able to get the final blow… the floor comes back (they don’t take fall damage) and he gives them a drop that enables them to craft blessed books that have really powerful enchantments like lightning strike (summons a lightning bolt when hitting an enemy) shadow focus (gives the player a massive buff if they are in complete darkness) and even enchantments that are above the available amount (like multi shot 2 sharpness 6 stuff like that) but they all will have a curse applied to them as well, meaning the player has to consider whether or not to use them. Probably a grammatical error or two in there but still… hope these are cool!!!
You know, it is rare to see a mod with this much thought behind it. Sounds arrogant, I know, but genuinely so many mods just add what seems cool or fun but it is very clear Dungeon Now Loading will be one of the greats because it genuinely take game design into consideration. Movable mob spawners and an actual use for making potions? Hell yeah! Side note: I love the two melee weapons as a concept, reminds me a lot of the anime Shangri-La Frontier and the Twin Moonblades
Man this video blew up, and you really deserve it. This mod + idea is incredibly high quality, and I'm super excited to see where the rest of the 99% of the mod takes you. The potential this has is through the roof.
hearing ur reason for why the mods name is "Dungeon Now Loading 1%" made me really hyped for the future of the mod and ur channel i love dungeons and this one already looks amazing so i m really excited to see what else u can cook up
First addition of the 100 dungeons/bosses you have in mind & you knocked it OUT OF THE PARK Awesome mod, you can tell how much thought & care was poured into this! Wish you well on the rest of your journey to fill that progress bar from 1 to 100!
Just 1% and this mod already seems really fun. The items and boss feel so different from anything in the game but still fit in perfectly, it’s amazing :D
I love this. You have done an amazing job of keeping the scope manageable (at least it seems that way lol I have no idea how long this took you), while adding some really simple but impactful mechanics. A summonable turret and aggro-stealing mob are brilliant and the implementation is so basic, in a good way (there’s no fluff or extraneous nonsense) and it seems balanced and yet empowering. The art direction is also fresh and cool while fitting perfectly into Minecraft. On top of all that, this video is edited wonderfully, it’s the kind of quality you’d expect from a channel many orders of magnitude larger. I would love if you had a Patreon that included some smaller updates more regularly, so I could support your work and also see what you’re making. I really want to see this come together! Either way, amazing job, and good luck!
actually such a dope mod idea and pack, i love it so much already despite it only beginnning. I hope you get a lot of recognition for your work and that it blows up, you deserve it
This is such a cool mod! So many great ideas with vanilla feeling implementation and the commitment to 100 unique dungeons is impressive! I wish you all the success with this project!
If you stay where you are right now, the kitchen is gonna burn down with how much cooking you're doing! Seriously, this looks so cool! I'm gonna have to play through this at some point. It looks so well made. Can't wait to see what you make next, even though this is already enough for a full on mod! Good work
this is huge. i've been working on a modpack for myself, themed around adventure and discovery, and i've been looking so long for some good boss additions. I have a high standard for their integration, aesthetics, and challenge, but his looks like a full A+ in all categories Came here from Modrinth, thank you so much for a fantastic mod!
I hope you can find a studio or a team to help with this ambitious project, simply because the quality of this mod is crazy good and it makes we wonder how much work you put into this! Keep it up this and this will be a Minecraft-era defining mod.
Awesome work! Some thoughts for ideas. Give the dungeon some lore. - Engravings on the walls - Notes left behind of previous explorers that made it / didn't make it? The books on those shelves could contain lore of the dungeon too? Maybe past sorcerers/witches/alchemist describe or hint towards the state of chaos? Speaking of chaos. Since the element of chaos is an essential part of the dungeon. Thoughts about making the dungeon more and more chaotic the deeper one goes? Ambiance sound could elevate this even further. I think Sound Mod Physics Remastered could come handy here, since people who use the voice chat mod probably also got that installed. I also think dungeons could greatly benefit from added debris or something other than the usual spiderwebs. Maybe even orb lights near magical sources. A dungeon variant of the silverfish. Maybe a golden beetle? Many ideas to elevate the dungeon further, but this is already incredible! Great job!
That's a lofty goal, and I'm all for it, engagement engagement, watch, watch time, like the video, algorithm should spread this video around to all modded minecraft players, para-social para-social, key words, 100 days, hardcore, boss fight, 100% completion.
It's a really nice touch to have the boss fall asleep for a period of time if the player dies along the way. So many good boss modes that were difficult to deal with when the player died it was difficult to recover the time invested in those items to try again, which was quite fatal.
Honestly, great video! The design of the mod is actually really well thought of and as a game designer myself I really appreciate that! Hope you get all the downloads you deserve!
i freaking love this, my man, take your time to craft the next dungeons, if the next one is only half the creative that this one is, you will already make an increaible job.
Okay this is amazing. I wish you all the best on the journey to 100%, the current 1% version already adds a lot of amazing features, and everything is really well thought.
Wow! I don't even play Minecraft but am impressed by the amount of new content and variety this mod adds! Also, if I ever play this game, I would definitely try this. Well done!
Incredible ideas, one, well polished dungeons with great and balanced weapons. I love diamond level damage with an added spicy mechanic. The bossfight, barrels and spikes are all very creative. Gotta love seeing a mod that does quality instead of quantity
The Dungeon wall Torches are one of the best additions in this pack. It's great to have ways of lighting up the environment by using the environment on its own, instead of having to bring so many resources beforehand, while the dungeon keeps flooding our inventories with more. The bossfight is hyper creative and it's design of having to survive a small 'bullet hell' to get to its sweet spot, is a new take I really enjoy . :') Using boss loot to create new weapons and items is a underrated design that yet is only being used in the new trial chambers. True dungeon experience :')
As someone just getting into mod development, this is inspirational. Truly underrated. Keep up the good work! 👍
Thank you! I also got inspired by your update series! I really love your work :D

What an ambitious project, I look forward to seeing more!
Which mob was your favourite?
sealed chaos by far, i love the idea of having a pickup turret
yeah sealed chaos is such a neat mob, he's like a little buddy :)
Holy moly get this man in charge of minecraft updates!
This is what Notch probably wanted for Minecraft ... no kidding, he wanted Minecraft to be more Survival and RPG-oriented.
Reminds me of the fact Notch's inventory concept art had actual baubles and other gimmicks in it, including a quiver to hold arrows
Weird way to spell Hatsune Miku
Weird way to spell Hatsune Miku
weird way to spell hatsune miku
Weird way to spell owner of the dirt orb hatsune miku
The balancing is amazing. The crafting is well thought out. This is the type of mods I love. 99 more of these would just be crazy
The potential this has is through the roof.
hearing ur reason for why the mods name is "Dungeon Now Loading 1%" made me really hyped for the future of the mod and ur channel i love dungeons and this one already looks amazing so i m really excited to see what else u can cook up
Really awesome mods! Can't wait for all the 100 dungeons
This is one of the best Vanilla feeling Minecraft Mod imo. Keep up the great work!
I love direction of this mod. One structure + all the fun stuff inside. Excited to see more
Man, even if this only gets to 2%, it’s already the best dungeon mod I’ve ever seen. Well done!
This is actually better than the tricky trials update. You're awesome dude!
That looks and sounds like a really cool mod. Love the attention to detail about the mob looks and the multiplayer changes.
First addition of the 100 dungeons/bosses you have in mind & you knocked it OUT OF THE PARK
Awesome mod, you can tell how much thought & care was poured into this! Wish you well on the rest of your journey to fill that progress bar from 1 to 100!
I can't wait to see more from this mod!
Keep up the good work man
I used to play the data pack dungeon now loading. Literally my favorite addition to a vanilla Minecraft let’s play
This is absolutely insane! Would love to play it if I weren't on bedrock edition 😢
Amazing mod so far and I'm excited to see future updates. If you manage to stick to it and get to 100% I'm going to be in awe at what you've created.
As a minecraft mod creator, this thing is truly incredible, with such interesting and unique mechanics, and epic content.
I'd honestly really like this as just a series of "maps" you can play, seems like an actual minecraft "dungeons" type of experience
This looks insanely good already, can't wait to play it!
actually such a dope mod idea and pack, i love it so much already despite it only beginnning.
I have a high standard for their integration, aesthetics, and challenge, but his looks like a full A+ in all categories
Came here from Modrinth, thank you so much for a fantastic mod!
This looks awesome! Now I'm looking forward to the other 99% :D
I hope you can find a studio or a team to help with this ambitious project, simply because the quality of this mod is crazy good and it makes we wonder how much work you put into this! Keep it up this and this will be a Minecraft-era defining mod.
What I love about this mod is it compliments the game design in 1.21 and that's SO amazing. You've done a phenomenal job with this !
Pretty amazing work so far! Impressive game design and really cool visual explanations
Keep up the grind lad!
Beautiful amazing mod would definitely recommend it to my guys, I hope you reach your goal. With you all the way!👍👍
Sir, you have my gratitude just for the fact you make multiplayer loot, everyone got their own stuff etc. I pray for your 100 dungeon journey.
Awesome work!
Some thoughts for ideas.
Give the dungeon some lore.
- Engravings on the walls
- Notes left behind of previous explorers that made it / didn't make it?
Great stuff man, continue!
i freaking love this, my man, take your time to craft the next dungeons, if the next one is only half the creative that this one is, you will already make an increaible job.
Omg you are crazy af, i love the idea and cant wait to play it
Thank you! Hope you enjoy :D
I love that boss design! Super creative with the mechanics
As a minecraft player, server admin and mod creator, I have to say that this mod is amazing, specially the boss. Very good job!
Okay this is amazing. I wish you all the best on the journey to 100%, the current 1% version already adds a lot of amazing features, and everything is really well thought.
In a desert dungeon there must be kitting cacti that, at the slightest contact, will kitten at you and one-shot you
Wow! I don't even play Minecraft but am impressed by the amount of new content and variety this mod adds! Also, if I ever play this game, I would definitely try this. Well done!
Wow! This structure and boss fight is amazing! I am also a big fan of the editing, and glad that you have captions :)
Incredible ideas, one, well polished dungeons with great and balanced weapons. I love diamond level damage with an added spicy mechanic.
The bossfight, barrels and spikes are all very creative. Gotta love seeing a mod that does quality instead of quantity
This mod has immediately shot up among the greats and will continue to climb as more structures are added! This looks so fun, fantastic job!!!!
True dungeon experience :')
this is such a great game design holy shit please you should be a level designer for a living
