hoping for your 3k viewers this year. practice casting and learning to throw a baitcaster is great advice. better to backlash at home than at the lake and ruining a day. senko, spinnerbaits and squarebills are all great starter baits and good places to revisit for the not so average anglers.
Great tips Sean this will definitely help people who are trying to gain confidence on a certain technique, or someone who simply wants to try and learn a new bait. Thank you as always for the valuable information hope you have an amazing new year. Road to 3k is so close I’m hoping it happens soon, you deserve it man !!!
Thanx AA. I see a whole wall of lures that need to be thinned out. So how bad you want 3k subscribers. Just kidding, I'm pulling for ya. I started bass fishing with worms, spinnerbait and a floating Rapala. The worm was first and still throw them more than most people. Rage bugs have to be my favorite creature bait. I have a hard time putting them down. I would think anybody can catch a bass on them and when they rip up they are great chatterbait/jig trailers.
@TheAverageAngler I watched it already. Thank you for all your tips. I've been working on dialing back my brakes lately, and that's when it became more apparent to me than smooth is the way to do it.
Part of it is the angle to the water, or ground. Finding the right length rod can help too. Once you get it down you can do it with most any rod. Keep at it.

I've been trying to get better at skipping and pitching, and I don't believe that force is my friend. I hope to master it before spring.
@@itllkeal I have a video on skipping and how to learn at home. I actually like to do it every now and again just to keep the feeling going.
