砺波市の酒蔵「若鶴酒造」内にある「三郎丸蒸留所」は、1952年から続く70年以上にわたってウイスキーを造り続けています。創業約150年の老舗酒造の技を継承し、日本酒とウイスキーを醸す全国でも珍しい酒造です。
日本酒造りで培ったこだわりや情熱は、ウイスキーづくりにも受け継がれ、清らかな庄川の伏流水を使用し富山の恵みを活かした、この地でしかできない味や香りを追求。
また、蒸留所の建屋は、ウイスキー蒸留所には珍しい瓦屋根・白壁の美しい建物となっています。昭和初期の雰囲気を伝え、トラス構造による木組みの美しさが見所です。
The Saburomaru Distillery, located within the Wakatsuru Sake Brewery in Tonami City, has been producing whiskey for over 70 years, starting in 1952. It is a rare sake brewery in Japan that inherits the techniques of a long-established sake brewery that has been in business for about 150 years and brews sake and whisky.
「ＳＡＢ．（サブ）」を東京都内で発表した。スモーキーな味わいに特化した新たなブレンテッドウイスキーを３種類ラインアップ。国内だけでなく、国産ウイスキーの人気が高い海外市場も狙う。販売は１２日から。
　若鶴酒造の創業は１８６２年で、ウイスキーは１９５２年に生産を始めた。麦芽をいぶす泥炭の煙で醸し出すスモーキーな風味が魅力で、国内外の賞を数多く獲得している。今回、新商品の認知度を世界で高めるため、これまで異なる名称で販売していた商品群を「サブ」ブランドに統一した。
　１２日には、スモーキーなウイスキーの入門者向け「ＳＡＢ． ＳＵＮＳＥＴ ＲＥＤ」（３４９８円）と愛好家向け「ＳＡＢ． ＮＩＧＨＴ ＢＬＡＣＫ」（５３９０円）の２種類を発売。最上級品「ＳＡＢ． ＯＣＥＡＮ ＢＬＵＥ」（９９００円）は２０２５年夏に数量限定で販売する（全て７００ミリリットル瓶入りの税込み参考価格）。いずれもアルコール度数は４６％。

Wakatsuru Sake Brewery was founded in 1862 and began producing whiskey in 1952. It has an attractive smoky flavor created by the smoke of the peat that smokes the malt, and has won numerous awards both domestically and internationally. This time, in order to raise awareness of the new products around the world, we have unified the product groups that were previously sold under different names into a "sub" brand.
On the 12th, two types will be released: "SAB. SUNSET RED" (3,498 yen) for beginners of smoky whisky, and "SAB. NIGHT BLACK" (5,390 yen) for connoisseurs. The top-of-the-line product "SAB. OCEAN BLUE" (9,900 yen) will be sold in limited quantities in the summer of 2025 (reference price including tax for all 700ml bottles). The alcohol content of both is 46%.
