Chimps to r140 with limited towers? Alright, time to represent the small group of people that have done this for over a year and a half. I'll still try to keep this relatively short. First of all, props to you for finding the 2tc that comes closest to beating those 40 rounds of freeplay: uboost rod. If you try uboost rod on logs with a specific dartling spot, it beats every round including r140, except for r138 because of the downtime on the ability. Rounds 138 and 140 are the first rounds we'd test for any potential new combos as they really do destroy pretty much anything you can think of. However, there are plenty of 2tcs that make it deep into non-random freeplay, a few of which can even beat r138. I have some news for you: rod (logs, resort), flying fortress (logs, resort, cubism) and anti-bloon (logs, probably also resort now) all beat the first 27 rounds of freeplay alone (once afforded) before dying to the fddts of r128. Slap an ultraboost on any of those (ff dies to r49 though before affording spectre) and they all make it to r140 before dying to the fbad. Use Icicle Impale instead and you'll get the same results, though they won't do much damage to r140 anymore. It should be mentioned that ff requires a bug know as "aqoa" that abuses the center path feature and reverse direction feature to essentially hold the ace in one spot. For some variety, other 2tcs that make it past r119 are mad with pod (025 wiz), wlp (052 wiz), and sotf (250 druid), and in v31 before he was nerfed, geraldo with several other towers. If you're willing to consider a little extra starting cash, 2tcc (2 towers coop chimps) is 2tc but with $1800 to start instead of $650. With this extra cash allowing almost any tower to beat the first few rounds, there are two combos that seal the deal: super mines rod and super mines anti-bloon. Both feature tight solutions to r140 and have not been continued past r140 since the goal was just to beat all the preset rounds. tl;dr: 2tc140 isn't yet possible but is indeed very close (ub rod closest), but 2tcc140 is done (smines rod, smines anti). 3tc140 also exists.

One combo that I found on the spreadsheet is Superstorm + MAD, it hasn't been done for a while but it seems like it has all bases covered quite well. Most combinations end up falling to either a lack of BAD damage or being overwhelmed by DDTs and as long as the 2TC is still possible it seems quite promising. I'm going to do some testing and see how far I can get.
super mines will need a r64-100+ carry there is no way you can a super mines before freeplay, there is probably no tower that costs under 650 and can get to super mines on time. maybe on coop chimps(where you can start with 1800 cash) there is a possibility going for tech terror or savatar. or maybe even dark champion works
there is a thing called 2tcc (2 tower chimps coop) where you get extra starting cash if you start with 785 money, you can do a 2-0-0 glue start, into 2-1-0 for round 15 (2-0-1 doesnt solo it) this should allow you to use glue as 1 of the towers, and i think a 2-5-0 glue for global slow/popping (aka 'removing every non-moab bloon on the screen, just not instantly') with a tower to destroy the moab class bloons could be a good combo

2-5-0 dargunner MAD at the very far right just below the end of the track aim-locked onto the top-left most beginning, with 5-0-2 boomerang Glaive lord on the bottom right corner of the small square. Boomerang first, get flamin rangs, then save for dartling, get it to 1-1-0 then go back to boomerang till it's 2-0-2 then get dartling to 2-2-0 and then go 3-0-2 glaive ricochet on boomerang before saving for 2-3-0 hydra rockets for dartling, next get your boomerang to 4-0-2 and then dartling to 2-4-0 before finally saving for that sweet sweet glaive lord 5-0-2 boomerang, and lastly just upgrade dartling to the 2-5-0 M.A.D. and idle the entire way through because nothing can stop you all the way to round 100. Smashed chimps mode like it was a chump. No abilities, no buffs, no micro required not even early on. Pure, simple, efficient.
Mackan, you should try getting the most D100 paragons you can. I know this has been done many times before, but I love your video specifically and also I think you would do really well with it!
140 is like the cut off. I have tried this on my channel and 140 no matter what I did was the cut off point. Buy I'm really digging your content brother
I used a 2TC Spirit of the Forest and M.A.D. on Cubism, put the dartling on the straight line and thr druid in thr middle. Once both towers are placed get a 1-1-0 dartling and then try to reach the 2-3-0 druid asap followed by the 2-3-0 dartling, after that 2-4-0 druid and 2-4-0 dartling, Spirit of the Forest first then M.A.D. You could try it in thr next episode on a better map.
Video idea: how far can you make it without using monkeys? Use Hero skins that are not monkeys, like octopus striker Jones, or alien Etienne. Then for towers you can use bomb shooter, spike factory, Village, and banana farm. No tack shooter though because that has a monkey inside apparently.
For late game runs what if you did it with 3 other players. You could get higher levels on you paragons more tier 5s and more hero’s. When I have done this since I do not have a good pc I would normally leave the game and let the player with the better pc afk it out. The only con is I don’t think you can go back to your games save after leaving
I did this before you and got the same answer, I personally think that this is the highest combo unless there is something with ace micro that you can do to get further but I personally don’t think that would be viable
1. I am pretty sure that violates the rules (I think Adroa 2tcs with sacrificing do not count) 2. I really doubt it would be beneficial or possible since the temple would be pretty weak and would eat a lot of money
@@oskiboski8 Ha, I kinda figured it wouldn't help much, I did think that maybe you could start with a support tower and then the third tower could benefit from the support buff (basically Ninja/alch on steroids) but I couldn't think of any decent setup that might make it work, even if the third tower is the same as the sacrifice.
I feel like WLP and Super Mines might be possible, but the save up to Super Mines is really difficult, without much effort I was able to get to round 103 on mobile. So I think someone who is better at the game, and maybe not on mobile would be able to get further, and maybe even get super mines, though I am not sure.
i doubt any combo can surpass the ROD-Uboost's r140 but im probably wrong, if i had to guess some kinda cheap good tower that can carry to legend of the night which alone can get to like r140+, but i doubt there is a tower of the sort

A good combo to try could be M.A.D. plus Glaive Lord, one is a beast against bloons, the other destroys blimps

they're all the same, however the easiest one I've found is sauda and a 052 wizard, you only need to use the summon phoenix on r99.

dont think r140 is beatable like this. you could probably pop the fBAD with pre emptive, but the insides will probably kill you.
you cant, the Fbad on r140 has 200k HP thats atleast 19-20 abilities(idrk how much pre-emptive deals without the ability so i put 19 as a safe net)
