Hi Scott, thank you so much for the review! It was super cool that you were able to take it out to Caribou Ranch! We appreciate you highlighting the quality materials and appliances along with the spacious design. After your trip and feedback, we have now implemented larger zippers that also include a wider angle on the windows to ensure durability. We did want to touch base on the electrical outage. We offer our employees a program to take the camper out and it had been out being used for the two weeks prior to the Expo, we then had it in the shop to get detailed before heading out to the Expo (no solar). Then during the Expo we raise and lower the camper 50-100 times per day which is the largest draw on the camper (and much more excessive than would be experienced in typical use). Unfortunately, we didn't have the sunniest weather and again we brought the unit back to the shop and cleaned it before your outing. We should have plugged her in, but alas we forgot. We were very happy to hear that the system that we install on each camper (30 amp power running from the alternator of the truck to the camper) did exactly as intended and powered you up so you could lower the unit within 15 seconds. In addition, the system can be lowered manually. All in all, great field testing and great feedback to our team. Thank you!
We were waiting for the right company to come along and create a modern, clean, efficient and up today slide in, one that reflects 2022 not 1952. Supertramp is that company. After taking delivery of our LT 8 months ago, , we have put it through the paces, allowing us to remain in the field on remote filming locations, utilizing every square inch and every amp of energy! It has delivered and more. We are thrilled to have put our trust and invested in STC. Expedition campers have entered a new era! Great review Scott-
@@kfbob364imagine being politically triggered by a camper video. Bob get that orange Donald tanning cream off the end of your nose. Maybe you’ll get some family members to talk to you again
It needs two batteries...I only saw one. I owned a soft top made by Hallmark and replaced it with an Alaskan. Those soft tops leak around the windows, period. This camper is very nice and would be quite comfortable for weekenders or hunters. Needs a bigger fridge. That composite body costs a fortune to manufacture. Looks solid and I would consider it...but I'd want an 8' model for the bigger truck...and bombproof windows.
I think the Flagship LT is amazing! But I would like to see Supertramp also offer a topper model. Something similar to the AT Overland Atlas. Narrower so it sits on the truck's bed rails with a lift-gate (but still keep the under-bed storage} so the truck can still be used to haul stuff or to be built out however needed. The only interior components that would be needed from the Flagship LT would be a battery, solar and the 30 amp DC to DC charger to power the lights, lift and fans. MAKE IT HAPPEN SUPERTRAMP!!!
Sorry if I missed what motor, and gearing was in this truck. Is it a a gas powered 2.7,3.5,5.0, or do they even make a 7.3 Godzilla for this? What is the payload capacity of this particular vehicle? And what are your hwy mpg while carrying this camper kitted out the way it is? I’m looking to cross country it from MS to Alaska and east coast to west coast too, and I would rather have a gasser than a diesel for the 75% of the time that the camper is not on the truck. Thanking you or anyone else in advance that can/will answer my questions.
Good presentation…makes a good impression…I’m not comfortable with the front window configuration…I’d want plastic windows and zipper panel options…that is Jorge space around the bed…thanks
As the owner of an 800 lb, 17 year old All Terrain Bobcat, which is basically an older version of a FWC Fleet - this modern composite/fiberglass shell camper is gorgeous and much nicer. It's priced accordingly, starting at $59,975.
F150 Supercab (extended) like this one has a 2200lbs payload +/- depending on engine and the 6.5' bed. A Supercrew would be tight though on payload at 1500ish, but probably too small of a bed anyways.
@@chrisangier9296. GREED, they priced out the everyday camping man. They started doing flatbeds and all these crazy builds tryin to be the earthroamer of pop ups. Sad.
$60,000 tent camper...it may look pretty but I can only imagine the cost of the netting if someone rolled over in the bed and somehow tore the netting up top. Northern Lite Truck campers have 10x more luxury for the same price and slightly higher clearance. These half ton haulable truck campers are pretty but just miss the goal overall. Not to mention being far out of reach of the average camper.
Now that I've watched the entire video, this camper is overpriced for the cheap materials used in it's construction. No thanks. Four Wheel or Hallmark are better choices. Even Alaskan.

If I order one, can you delete all things propane?
Also, can the tailgate be closed on a 6.5 bed?

This camper had my interest right up to the $60k entry level price point.
Thanks, you just saved me from watching the video and being disappointed.
That's actually pretty good price considering Bidinflation.
Regardless, it is $50,000 over my price range.@@kfbob364

Stupid stolen name. $60k plus for a pop up? No thanks.
Always great insights from you Mr.Brady. Look forward to more camper reviews on the channel
Beautifully designed and engineered. I have seen them up close and the quality is beyond compare.

Will the awnings fit inside the sliding drawer?
What brand of zippers do they use? YKK is top of the line.

What about the AC??
I would put in a mini split from Undermount AC. Also, two 320 amp Lithionics batteries, Victron, etc. Then it would be great for me.
Could you link the suction cup awning you recommend ? Thank you
You mentioned alternative awnings. What are some examples of high quality suction cup awnings ? Thank you
I have used the moonshade awning
You need the airbag that goes above your cab to keep the wind velocity down
Ok it’s raining, top comes down. Looks like sides would be dripping wet. Have to air out.
These camper manufacturers need to start building the awning into the shell, flush.

Is there a larger size for 8' bed or flatbed model?
They should use a chest style fridge/freezer
They both have their strengths and weaknesses for sure.
Overstated, not understated
The dose makes the poison
so nice, but so spensiv. Maybe one day I can find a used one :( .... But why not windows? Seems like it needs a least one on the side.
Windows are at waist or chest level. Kind of a waste in my estimation!
I would likem to know the price points. Not revealing the price tell me, if i have to ask the price, I cannot afford it, really that is my decision.
Curious about the camper's weight as per this setup and how the F150 was modified for the payload??

How much does the camper weigh? @@montechie
@@seeharvester ~1350 lbs according to their website
I hope they build a flat bed model with a side entry
To think this camper started out at 38k…
Why did the price increase?

That airbag that goes on top of your cab will help you get better gas mileage
What do you mean by airbag exactly I am absolutely curious and would love to know?

Wow is that nice, the 60000 starting point 👉 😳 💔 took me out.⚰️
For $60K I don't see the value.
It ends up to be the same price as the 4wheel Camper but the supertramp is a superior quality build and with better features.
Then do not buy it.

Way too much $$$$$
All good until price, ridicuous.
It is a small business. I can assure you they are not charging a single dollar more than they need to.
@@ExpeditionPortalyes, economies of scale make things cheaper.
@@ExpeditionPortal you’re incorrect. I have an email from them the first year, they were $38k before greed set in.
