- "Can I order a fried chicken sandwich without the chicken?" Such an order can be rather confusing for most fast-food employees. But once we turn the corner and they see the deep frying setup in our car, it all makes sense.
As a tip, if you are making fried chicken, be sure to brine in buttermilk and pickle juice for extra flavor. Then, be sure to use some potato starch when frying. Happy cooking!

Mad respect for how you treat Joanna. I appreciate how you acknowledge her kindness/friendliness as her talent, and treat her as a person (as opposed to some service center behind the window of a drive thru.) And that proposition of you giving her a raise she deserved out of your own pocket was super wholesome. If half of the population took you as a role model and followed through, I really think this world would have only half as many problems as it does now.
