What does coloring have to do with anything? You compared a ready to use product to a dilutable one too. Did you check if the chemical guys product leave scratches? LoL I use many different types of waterless washes that you dilute and none leave any color on the paint. In talking Optimum , Ultima etc etc
I just started using CG Eccosmart and my dilution come out “white”. Also use Sanzos which come out clear. Both are fantastic. Make me wonder if you mixed it correctly?
Sorry Acc0Rd but you should research what concentration mix means.. the 16oz is supposed to make up to 2 gallons of ready solution. You're comparing apples and oranges. Also, coloring, milkiness is not necessary but the first patch you did with ecosmart we could clearly see a huge improvement after you wiped and buffed.
I see your point here but a lot of the waterless wash's seem to be clear. The mequires sprays on clear as does the mothers. I saw a video of the aero waterless wash or whatever spraying on clear. At 10 bucks for a non concentrated 16 ounce bottle its roughly 8 times more expensive than the chemical guys concentrate which makes 2 gallons. You could even double the strength of the chemical guys concentrate and it would be 4 x cheaper than the other product you showed
Ok here’s my take, I’m A professional detailer and I use this product, you used the wrong ratio which is problem #1. #2 this product isn’t meant to make your car look like it just rolled off the showroom Floor UNLESS you just FULLY DETAILED the car and used a good proper polish, ceramic, wax and seal. It’s meant to keep your car or truck shiny in between full details. So bagging on chemical Guys for this is wrong. Just looking at your GTR and I see it needs some love not just a waterless wash.
I use this quite a lot and the results are stunning. No i do not scratch up my paint with this, smells great, looks great, i do use the dilute version, not the concentrate. Cheap and will last you a bunch of washes. This review all n all was not even a review, you pussied out on even testing the product. I understand why you didn't wanna risk scratching your ride, but don't bother shit talking a product you're not even doing a actual review on and then promote some other product. ALL N ALL, This video was completely misleading, thumbs down.
Don't know if anyone will read this after all this time, but just wanted to tell you guys I've decided to retry this product, but with 13 parts of water and 3 parts of product in a 16 oz bottle. Lubrication and slickness seems pretty good at that ratio, but this is just with the goal of not wasting my purchase by getting rid of it completely. Switched to Optimum Opti-Clean since which is a much better product!!
Just received this product. At first I diluted the product following the 16:1. I sprayed some of it in a sink just to see how it looks. And it was really watery. I then did roughly 10:1 after. 32oz bottle with roughly 3oz of product and it seemed a lot better. I still don’t know if I would trust it with a really dirty car. I will admit it left my motorcycle really shiny
I did my black explorer with this product using 40 oz of zero water filtered water to 4 oz of water less concentrate. My can had not been washed in about 2 weeks and was dirty from many rain storms. I used the CG 60 oz atomizer (a pump and spray) and that is the way to go. You just pump it with air and then just pull the trigger. But this did a great job on the black paint. But I did go thru alot of MF towels as it is a big car.
Good review again Chad, Honest and no BS. I've enjoyed many chemical guys products over the years and still use them, But I'll be honest here...Since Greg left, They're going a little down hill and it's sad. The new releases are just nowhere near as good as their legitimately good old products. I think Greg could see a change and couldn't put his face to it.
I mean I am not saying I am a pro here, just an average hobbyist here to help others make decision on what products they might want. I just feel people can do so much better here!
I think you're right, You do such a good service here as so many people aren't in our circles and just want to clean their cars with decent products easy to buy locally ane you'll save them lots of money and heartache lol.
mine leaves a white or greenish liquid on my black car and I can see it haze up but used distilled water. I just don't know why yours looks like water and it does I can tell from the video.
If you are looking for a great waterless or rinseless wash, look into infinite use detail juice. Don't wanna sound like a fan boy but it is great. You can also add juice boost to it which seals the paint while you wash. It is a super concentrate so even though it isn't cheap, it goes a long way. That and regular onr are my go to ww. Depending on if I want to wash and seal in one move or spray some dedicated sealant on afterwards. ONR is also a great mild leather and dash cleaner. It's very versatile.
yea I usually by the premix version , this version you have to dilute, perhaps you should shake the bottle first before pouring the 10z to make the next bottle, or try 15 oz of water and add 1 oz of concentrated eco smart. maybe it will work better this time
There are 2 options. The Ecosmart RU came ready to use. The concentrate version came on 16:1 ratio. I work on detailing and both work the same. Concentrate its more expensive per bottle but on that ratio its really cheap at the end.
You're right. lol. I thought about this, I bought the concentrate. I filled a 2 gallon hand pump and poured the entire bottle into it. I shook it up reallll nice. I spray and sprayed and sprayed and wiped and wipe and buffed. At the end, the car was clean and very shiny. The product worked, buuutttt I had used a little over half of the 2 gallons. So only 2 washes and I used so much microfiber towels because it uses so much water. It's so wet! I will now try out the other ones like mastersons because it has the sealent, and then I finish it off with the mequiars ultimate fast finish because it's fast, spray and wipe on wipe off. I like mequiars quick detailer also.
Try Mckee's 37 they have at least 3 products for waterless wash 1.Waterless wash on the go concentrate 2 Rinse free wash and wax, and 3. N-914. All 3 can be diluted with distilled water and make multiple products. From waterless wash, detail spray, spray on wax, claybar lubricant, and rinseless washing. I have yet to try N-914 but i use the other 2 great results. Also Wolfgang's Uber rinseless wash and wax for detail spray. They all work on glass and most on interior cleaning or dusting. Very cost effective.
Try Croftgate waterless wash. They actually have 2. One is called Aquanil and the other is called Aquanil-X (contains wax). All Croftgate products have not disappointed me ever.
I’m not going to say it’s a good product, because I don’t think the concentrate is, but you have to shake the concentrate bottle well before diluting the “wax” tends to sit at the bottom and doesn’t give a good mixture. That’s my experience with it
When will you use Adams polishes, car pro, and more of griots variety of products? You always use chemical guys and mastersons products. I think you should use different products to compare which one work better.
David Chaidez love waterless wash from adams, but diluted their rinseless works amazing too ( just offers less gloss enhancements or wax infused in the rinseless formula) but the encapsulation was great
I've used tons. Honestly I just go for what's asked for the most. If companies send me stuff then I try them out and go from there. Remember I spend TONS of money on products each year already so I just sort of go with the flow.
From the video I don't like seeing how the CG waterless wash was looking. I agree it basically looked like water and I think Masterson's looked like the safer option as it appeared to be better lubricated. I never liked how CG kept saying their products can be further diluted out of their spray bottles because I think it would overly water it down. I bought a scent from them and if I diluted the "concentrate" I'd have to spray 10 times more product than I would if I just spray out of the bottle.
I find your videos interesting regarding these waterless washes. Have you ever tried Carpro Ech2o waterless wash? I bought the 5l bottle and dilute it with de ionised water, i find that one very good and its super slick.
Nice try however, I do not believe it was a fair comparison. You used a product you have to dilute next to one you do not. Chemical guys makes a water less wash that you do not have to dilute. Personally, I would have used that when comparing the two products. I just used the Masterson's on my new car and discovered that it does a poor job on the yellow drops and streaks (which I have been told are from trees). Maybe, I have to let it sit for several minutes for it to dissolves the spots.
Did you even shake the bottle? The wax and clay settles at the bottom. You have to shake it to activate it like you read in the instruction. At least show you shaking the bottle versus the editing... I can’t say this is an honest review because when you did spray it did look to watery which could be from you NOT Shaking the bottle beforehand.
You are stupid. Don't get hung up on the words. It's concepts. Waterless wash...no hose and bucket Rinseless wash...don't need rinse down soapy suds. soak your mit and wipe Detail spray...light dust Waterless wash has more lubricity than detail spray Rinseless wash should have more lubricity than detail spray. Use waterless wash if it's more dirty and dust than what a detail spray is typically used for. Hose and bucket for caked on dirt. SImple. Just cause it says waterless doesn't mean anything about being a non liquid or non h2o.
Hey Chad, Great Review, Was about to buy many Chemical guys products but will think of other products to buy from now on. In your opinion, what do you think is the best clay lubricant and also would you recommend chemical guys clay block? Also, What is your favourite Wax/Sealant? I am thinking of buying soft99 Fusso and maybe Mothers Carnuba wax to go with it. Thanks for your honest reviews. Kind Regards, Judy Kugio
I do like CG jetseal, that is a good product from them! The lube for a clay bar or mitt is just a detailer, nothing special needed. Soft99 has incredible repelling technology, pretty cool actually!
THIS PRODUCT IS TERRIBLE! (PLEASE READ SECOND SECTION TOO) If the dilution ratio is 16:1 and the bottle is 16oz that would make more than 2 gallons of product, the bottle says its makes 2 gallons of product. 16:1 means 17 parts, so if you take 16 x 17 you get 16 more oz than 2 gallons... shouldnt it be a 15:1 ratio, 15 parts water and 1 part product for a total of 16 parts, 16 parts times 16oz is 256 oz, divided by 128oz (one gal) is 2 gallons! I picked up this product from the Detail Garage because no local shops carry any rinse less wash and waxes (auto zone, advanced, walmart). Before hand I was making my own waterless wash and wax spray using other companies products. I use waterless wash and waxes as a drying aid, after I do my final rinse of the car, ill spray a layer on the wet car, rinse it off then the surface has a lot more gloss and is more hydrophobic. ECOSMART's results were awful and it did not work. Not to mention the smell of the product was too strong, after diluting it properly, so I had to step away for a couple minutes to get some fresh air and I WAS ALREADY OUTSIDE WASHING MY CAR, NOT IN A GARAGE!
I bought this crap today to test it for myself, you're 100% right, it's diluted piss. Even full strength it's a joke. Ultraluster blows it away, so does Griot's. This stuff is as watery as Adam's waterless. I'll be using mine for spraying down the tires or something other than paint.
Lol try onr looks pretty much the same but works as it provides as much lubrication as a quick detailer, if your scared to use it on the gtr test on the accord or prelude.
I care for all cars, one car might be old but that doesn't men I don't care for it. I wouldn't even wash my cars let alone have this channel if I didn't care for cars.
Instead of showing us a side on side comparison, you should try putting before after pictures in your future videos. It would truly be much clearer. I don't see a lot of editing in your videos, and I actually appreciate it at times, however I think that me and a lot of others think it would be a huge improvement!
most videos I do as you can watch my older videos and see. However in this video I never finished the car so there was no point, it was more to show you the quality difference at that point.
Acc0rd79 , ah! My bad, I actually meant in general; I have seen it in the past but, take a look at your wax review that was really in depth! It was a great video explaining the differences of the waxes and quality, but the comparisons were hard to see, just a simple before and after picture under say, your garage lighting could really draw the viewer into the video. Seeing the difference a product makes is really an important thing to see!
Hahahaha. I don’t blame you for feeling un safe. But dude you need to at least give it a chance. Do one side and give it a chance. I’m not picking sides but I’ve tried so many nothing beets a nice sponge bath. But I did try the eco waterless stuff and gotta say. Very impressive. And I did one gal of water to one bottle. That’s how I did it. And I’m good
So what is the point of this product then if it can't be diluted and be used to the same affect as the other companies? It says it is a waterless wash like the others and it is concentrated and meant to be diluted and yet when I dilute it, I can't compare it to the others? Seems like a cop out. If it's a bad product then it's a bad product. I've tried their motorcycle waterless wash and it was fine, this isn't.
well sadly this product didn't work. I bought the concentrated version so I could make a lot of bottles over time to achieve the same results as other companies. Oh well, at least I was able to show the differences.
Masterson's waterless wash, there are several good ones of course but I feel the lubricity and slickness is far better than any other. Masterson's also includes a spray on sealant in it as well which really helps to increase protection.
Acc0rd79 thanks a lot man I recently just moved into an apartment area and don't have very easy access to water and I only want the very best for my car!
Acc0rd79 will do that's what I like about his products unlike Chemical guys. They have like so many different waxes and shampoos and etc that I really don't know what to choose half the time. I like how Greg has everything narrowed down and not 20 different choices for each product
@acc0rd79 can you try the optimum waterless wash please? I know obsessed garage recommends that stuff too. But would like to hear your opinion on it. Thanks! New subscriber here btw
It's all gimmick. Find what you like within your budget, use proper technique (which is more important than product) and move on. Ultraluster kicks ass when it comes to slick btw.
Looks like you can not follow directions from there videos smh . I been using chemical guys for years. In my detail shop with no issues. You have to use chemical guy sprayers for a reason. Or there sprayer you spray it on and let it sit then wipe. Same with there diablo wheel cleaner if you buy the ducktip sprayer it foams as it comes out. You also never shook the bottle
I think you should have shook it up, it a good comparison at all. I just think you decided to end it too quick and not giving it a chance, maybe you don’t chemical guys stuff. You also sound too whiny. Matersons is premixed like the other ones, this stuff you have too pre mix it, chemical guys does make one that is premixed. This video sucks, two different products no good material.
If u want to be serious, make the test in a dirty car. All the other u say prove them with chemical analyse. And i can say whatever i have in my mind. Prove what you say. Otherwise, show in a dirty car how the products work.
You should be ashamed of yourself. Lots of people who are new to detailing will believe what you say when in fact you are just trying to push the masterson’s product. When in reality ALL the waterless wash concentrates are thin/watery. Misinforming the public for your own gain...that’s pathetic.
Although optimum ONR is more of a “ rinseless wash . You should try it . Especially since your cars rarely get super super dirty . For maintenance it’s awesome.
I've used this on my car for almost a year now, and parked under a tree every day for 7 months. Have no swirls on my paint. ONR is definitely my favorite to use, and it smells really good!
You are using a sprayer that is typically sold in hardware stores it doesn't spray a mist fine enough and instead you get larger droplets.
I have no problems with Eco Smart Concentrate. I feel it's a great product
Good video but you used the wrong ratio for dilution. It should be 15 oz of water and 1oz of product.
What does coloring have to do with anything? You compared a ready to use product to a dilutable one too. Did you check if the chemical guys product leave scratches? LoL I use many different types of waterless washes that you dilute and none leave any color on the paint. In talking Optimum , Ultima etc etc
eddynelly1717 I like Ultima
The stuff is no better than using water. Damn sure not what I gave money for, it's pure hype.
I think the concentrated Chemical Guys Eco requires you to shake the bottle because the carnuba settles at the bottom.
I'm sorry but I can't really take you seriously when you seemed to be impressed by the smell or the color of a product.
You could even double the strength of the chemical guys concentrate and it would be 4 x cheaper than the other product you showed
Ok here’s my take, I’m
A professional detailer and I use this product, you used the wrong ratio which is problem #1. #2 this product isn’t meant to make your car look like it just rolled off the showroom
Floor UNLESS you just FULLY DETAILED the car and used a good proper polish, ceramic, wax and seal. It’s meant to keep your car or truck shiny in between full details. So bagging on chemical
Guys for this is wrong. Just looking at your GTR and I see it needs some love not just a waterless wash.
Did it leave an scratches or swirls in the paint after you wiped it off?
Maybe shake the concentrate mix it up before adding it to water?
I use this quite a lot and the results are stunning. No i do not scratch up my paint with this, smells great, looks great, i do use the dilute version, not the concentrate. Cheap and will last you a bunch of washes. This review all n all was not even a review, you pussied out on even testing the product. But I did go thru alot of MF towels as it is a big car.

mine leaves a white or greenish liquid on my black car and I can see it haze up but used distilled water. I just don't know why yours looks like water and it does I can tell from the video.
no idea buddy.
It’s supposed to and you buff it off it’s supposedly a layer of caranuba wax
If you are looking for a great waterless or rinseless wash, look into infinite use detail juice. Don't wanna sound like a fan boy but it is great. You can also add juice boost to it which seals the paint while you wash. It is a super concentrate so even though it isn't cheap, it goes a long way. That and regular onr are my go to ww. Your videos save me time and money after seeing this thank you bro
You're more than welcome!
Acc0rd79 not that I would buy that but at least I know
The problem is that you bought the one you mix yourself they have a ready to use version that is the same as Mastersons.
I bought this so that I could use it for multiple bottles, sad.
yea I usually by the premix version , this version you have to dilute, perhaps you should shake the bottle first before pouring the 10z to make the next bottle, or try 15 oz of water and add 1 oz of concentrated eco smart. maybe it will work better this time
It’s obvious it’s silly.

I did shake it up:) Still nothing:(
Because you need to put the the chimical brothers stuff in a sprayer I think to make a layer of this stuff
When will you use Adams polishes, car pro, and more of griots variety of products? You always use chemical guys and mastersons products. I think you should use different products to compare which one work better.

I did shake it but believe what you want, we all have opinions in life:)
So you have to use this with water? So much for waterless wash and wax -.-
But I dont even know how to use it do I could be wrong
You are stupid. Don't get hung up on the words. It's concepts.
Waterless wash...no hose and bucket
Rinseless wash...don't need rinse down soapy suds. soak your mit and wipe

Waterless wash has more lubricity than detail spray

Hose and bucket for caked on dirt.
SImple. Just cause it says waterless doesn't mean anything about being a non liquid or non h2o.
Based D It’s waterLESS....meaning LESS water than buckets & hose. It never said NO WATER!
wyzemann You are BRAINLESS!
I've been using ONR at my shop for years.
We love it.
Good to hear, I've heard a lot of good things.
Acc0rd79
Hope you give it a try.
You can also get it with wax built in it but prefer the regular.
Hey Chad,
Great Review, Was about to buy many Chemical guys products but will think of other products to buy from now on.

Try Wolfgang’s Uber Rinseless. You will never look back after using this. Its versatile, effective and economical.
I've heard good things about that company but I've never tried them.
Acc0rd79 Currently, I am using McKee's, Pinnacle, and Optimum as well. However, for the money its the best.
Lol try onr looks pretty much the same but works as it provides as much lubrication as a quick detailer, if your scared to use it on the gtr test on the accord or prelude.
I'm scared that I need to go back and spend hours getting swirls out again, that's why I cut the video right then.
Acc0rd79 lol my bad I didn't think you'd be concerned about swirling up an almost 20 year old car which is rusting. The gtr i understand lol
I care for all cars, one car might be old but that doesn't men I don't care for it. I wouldn't even wash my cars let alone have this channel if I didn't care for cars.
Acc0rd79 never said you didn't.
It's meant to be sprayed from the bottle, not mixed with water.
Actually if you read it this is the concentrated version and it is in fact meant to be diluted.
There are 2 diferente products from CG the Ecosmart RU. Means ready to use. The decal its different its like brown decal. This one its concentrate.
What’s the difference between this and waterless wash?
I hope Chemical guys are sending a goodie box your way as we speak, haha
They probably have me on ignore.
It would be better if he put the Coke down before he started. He never mentions the orange peel in his paint.
Seeing the difference a product makes is really an important thing to see!
can this be mixed with battery water for a good wash...?
It's bc the chemical guys was a concentrate. That is only coloring that Mastersons used.
masterson's wasn't concentrated at all and it still looks and works 10000x's better:) So did the other waterless washes I used.
It's sad , but I have watched CG go down hill fast lately , and your right there are so many better products out there and for less money .
And I’m good
You beat the balls off the chemical guys product engineers. Love it.
You bought the concentrated waterless wash they have the same One already diluted and as the same effect as matersons.
Acc0rd79 with their other products they make you dilute them to make them stronger but with waterless wash there is no point.
well sadly this product didn't work. I bought the concentrated version so I could make a lot of bottles over time to achieve the same results as other companies. Oh well, at least I was able to show the differences.
Never used a Chemical Guys product, definitely won't start with this product. Thanks for the honest review
what IS going on today? Did you ever find out?
Adams tire shine 👍🏼 Adams buttery wax 👍🏼 Adams glaze 👍🏼
What is the best waterless wash product that you have used?
Masterson's waterless wash, there are several good ones of course but I feel the lubricity and slickness is far better than any other. Masterson's also includes a spray on sealant in it as well which really helps to increase protection.
Acc0rd79 thanks a lot man I recently just moved into an apartment area and don't have very easy access to water and I only want the very best for my car!
give him a shot with his waterless wash and maybe pick up his Snow foam and detailer, you could also look at his shield sealant, all great choices.
How does this compare to the adams waterless wash?
I like adam's polishes more.
Wateless Car Wash or Foam Car Wash? i talk about it on my channel!
I use it straight myself since its inception.
You must be waiting for free stuff to arrive from Adam’s polishes. Only then you will do a review on their products
Or subscribers like you to buy some for me.
Are you related to Rob Dyrdek?
I think you should have shook it up, it a good comparison at all. I just think you decided to end it too quick and not giving it a chance, maybe you don’t chemical guys stuff. You also sound too whiny. Matersons is premixed like the other ones, this stuff you have too pre mix it, chemical guys does make one that is premixed. This video sucks, two different products no good material.
You put so much more mastersons on. Did you realize you got the ecosmart rtu product lol.
the quality difference is huge, I could put 1 spray of Masterson's on and it would blow away this junk.
Waterless washes are always a baf idea
Get some rinse free wash and use it 2 ounces to 16 ounces
kia bass 879 you mean 1:8 dilution ratio
Great info keep it up!!!!!
So..... How much did greg pay you to say that?
lol jk
"Dr. Evil" ONE MILLION DOLLARS! MUHAHAHAHA
Theirs stuff works only with distilled water
TjažmaK it does not make a bit of difference. Don’t be silly.
i was being sarcastic
My bad... lol
If u want to be serious, make the test in a dirty car. All the other u say prove them with chemical analyse. And i can say whatever i have in my mind. Prove what you say. Otherwise, show in a dirty car how the products work.
I'm going muddin with the GTR tomorrow, yee haw
Do dawn for the hell of it
The truth hurts
Chemical guy sucked I got the blue bottle yesterday in it was terrible
Looks like Masterson's is a good product, ask Greg why I can t find his products in socialist Canada???
Bigdog Bulldog if you are looking for the waterless wash from mastersons I'm a vendor for them I can sell you some
Sean The Detail Guy Thanks,Do you also carry the mystic foam or the show and shine shampoos?
Bigdog Bulldog tell me what you would like and I will make it happen for you
This man triggered 🤣🤣🤣
U should try adams and griots
Angelwax plz
