Easy Artist Wall Easel Build, How to DIY

Materials
3 - 8ft boards (1×3")
1 -1/2" dowel
2 - 1/2" x 2 1/2" carriage bolts
2 - 1/2" washers
2 - 1/2" knobs
4 - 5/16" x 3" carriage bolts
4 - 2 1/2" wood screws or toggle anchors to mount onto wall
Basic tools
Saw
Drill
Drill bits (1/2, 5/16, 13/64)
Sander
Sand Paper rough to fine
Hammer
Wood glue
Clamps or Brad nail gun ( 1" brads)
Pencil
Tape measure
Mounting
Phillips #2
Stud finder

What did you use to cover the threads of the carriage bolts on the risers?

Any rubber tubing would work. My updated easels use 1/4" gas line
