sept is actually the 7th month believe it or not. Sept meaning 7, then you go into OCTober (8th). You've been deceieved. Also DEC meaning 10. I'm not sure if the other months names directly translate to a number. maybe NOV means 9.
You are correct, the September to December month names mean 7th month, 8th month, 9th month and 10th month. This made sense when the first month of the year was March, which was the case back during the Roman Empire. Also, July was called Quintillis (5th month) and August was called Sextillis (6th month). January and February were the 11th and 12th months Julius Caesar renamed the 5th month after himself, and then Augustus Caesar did the same with the 6th month. Other Roman emperors also tried to rename months after themselves, but those names didn't stick. Julius Caesar was also the person who rearranged the order and made January the first month, causing the names of the "numbered months" to no longer make sense.
Stalkers are ok at some things, but protoss players try to use them like a terran unit, but they aren't good at everything like most of the terran units are.
To be fair, if you challenge a player ot a competitive game, imho you shouldnt expect him to go easy on you, birthday or not. In fact me i would feel more insulted if my opponent would go easy on me.
