There's a spot in Karamja where you can "use" an item on a tree when running away from it. You will clip through it and run into the water. Once you go deep, you will get a loading screen, and it will be black until you log out. When you log back in, you will be on the fishing dock.
that little swamp island from 5:23 is the area you stand in when picking your route in the temple trekking mini game, and if you get attacked as you evade an encounter sometimes the overlay is missing showing progress during a trek and you apparently stand there whenever it says you are advancing in the trek
I have to say, at the time when the game was more magical in a less 'all information always, internet centric' world - reaching the fairy rings and Zanaris was one of the coolest experiences. The world already felt so big, alive and immersive, but there was something extra special about finding those new off-Runescape locations like the Enchanted Valley and the Gorak Plane that was just something else. Part of me wishes there were something to do in those places more, and that the thin line of distance from core RuneScape exploration would be expanded even further. Yet at the same time, the fact that these locations exist in such an isolated, untouched manner, makes them almost more special. I'd regularly visit them even without anything to do in them because the place itself was the reward.
5:15 that's from a cutscene during the eyes of glouphrie quest as well one of the temple trekking events (I think the ghast one? could also be the nail beast one)
The first ever out-of-bounds area I ever noticed in Runescape was in 2005, when I first started playing. If you stand in just the right spot at the Rune Essence mine (I think either the Northwest or Southwest corners) you can see the air altar in the far distance. Back then it was only visible on the minimap since there was no oculus orb, and the draw distance was very very short.
i had forgotten about the enchanted valley but i usually remember it when i think of obscure places. I miss the aggressive rock golems and tree spirits from the old randoms.
I just noticed the Abyss last week from the Drill sergeant area. Also look around on the Fishing Trawler. The map outside the ship always changes slightly. Sometime there are 1-2 other ships out in the water, sometimes the dock is visible and other times it’s a giant wall of water.
I have some more to add for future content, did you know if you go to the corp cave and use detached camera you are next to the DK lair, and another corp cave fact if you use detached camera and angle it underneath corps lair you will find the word “CORP” written in RuneScape tiles finding things like that makes me happy, also I am now subbing due to that drill Sargent find in abyssal sires room I spent forever there and use to detach camera all around that area myself so props to you for seeing it aswell
I believe you need to go to the agility course for an elite diary task. Didn't realize until now though that the agility course is sitting right above the swamp caves.
This is probably the first video where the title had ‘you might not know about’ and it was true, I didn’t know about almost any of those and I like to think my RS trivia knowledge is pretty vast. Nice
The 'Rock Golem' and 'Tree Ent' in the enchanted Valley are retired 'aggressive' random events from the Mining and Woodcutting Skills...I think removed from the game in 2014
nice video man! Idk if someone already told you, but your voice and the way you talk is very similar to theoatrix, even the way that you edit the video look like him lol. Anyway, i'm enjoying very much every video!! gratz!!
Bizarre. I recognize that gnome and goblin fight, it's part of a cutscene for one of the gnome quests, but I don't believe that one was ever implemented into OSRS. It's the cutscene where there's a battle and the gnome's old wizard who obscured the death of the white spirit tree used his illusion magic to summon a bunch of turtles to scare away the goblins.
Back when rs3 was rs2 I got over 100 battlestaffs from the killawatts I forget why it was possible might of been some kinda multiplier they were using at the time

The level of the rock golems and the Tree spirits scales on player level, common area for ironman to get early game Rune Axes
And nature runes. I remember going there early in my account, I noticed something weird about the exp drops tho
@@Nitemarish Xp rates are reduced.

Very interesting indeed!
The valley monsters drop rune picks and axes, respectively.

5:12 thats a cutscene from eyes of glourphie!
Oh cool! It did feel weirdly familiar

You forgot about the room in the ape atoll that was fully inaccessible for like 12 years until the diary update

The word in Runescape is that Francis is still digging to this day.

Maybe standing on the tiles in the correct order and lighting them up brings you somewhere else with crazy loot?
One of the most interesting vids on osrs I have seen. Thanks!!

You know what be a fun follow up a video one about hidden items or hard to get items in osrs

Fun fact: the tree and rock spirits in the fairy ring only map are combat level scaled
heres a pointer if you do more of these, if you defeated iban and stand in his room you can see the mime show random event
Ive done the chaos alter many time's with a friend growing up. From edge to there and back 😅

Good shit! This is why i subbed

The swamp island is from temple trekking if I'm not wrong

Eyes of Glouphrie btw
What is the furthest / most difficult location to reach in RS?
2:45 video did not dissapoint :)
banger video!
I Like nature banks! I only know of 1 in osrs. Fish trawler!
The "random" swamp island looks like one from temple trekking that would have nail beasts
one thing I find funny is the underground pass and the mime event are on the same plane to view :)
Back when rs3 was rs2 I got over 100 battlestaffs from the killawatts I forget why it was possible might of been some kinda multiplier they were using at the time
@SOUP next GG hide and seek location 2:50
i hope Hanannie stood on these tiles or shes gonna have a reaaaaaly bad time.
