It's been 5 months you got a review, cuase Im thinking with a hard drive plugged in, wireless headset and then put a RGB light kit we might be running oh little Xbox a bit too hard, where is the kit that just feeds a little cord out so we can just plug it into the wall, don't give me the RGB use barely any power I know this, but that fan would need and get a specific amount of power, and the RGB are using the same plug.
The first video shows the RGB LED light on the Xbox Series S console, it is dope when the light shines and colors change, I am gonna make myself one light for my plain console. Thanks for the video😘😘😘
The Metal Shield Problem when you want in there a Performance Fan 120mm and the much Heat i fixed !Remove the Metal Shield ,put the Performance Fan on the Cooling Ribs with Zip Ties ,then let the Metal Shield outside the Box and mount only the Plastic .No Issues ,not much more Dust and works good ! ❤
Man great instruction video! Looks easy enough to do. One question. Maybe I missed the reason but why did you use that second layer of black tape on part of the circle of LED’s before putting it all back together?
Update to anyone using this video as of 09/07/2024 in USA... The void warrent sticker on you series x/s gpu or anything is NOW NULL AND VOID as of Supreme Court Ruling..
I need help, I have installed watching video. Xbox works including fan but LEDs will not work at all. Tried using remote all around but nothing. Could this be the remote maybe?
It sounds like the remote. Maybe try changing the battery or I have noticed it also works with other remotes of similar style if you have any other rgb in the house.
@@CTAtechdesk Tried new battery. Led flashes red on remote but LEDS still not turning on. Guessing the receiver or something but not sure. Guess I will contact them and see if they can send out a new one. Either way thank you for the video. Was a big help and made the install very easy

I want this. I have both the S and X. Love the little S. It's definitely a little freaking beast
It really is
So much easier watching and following along with your guide. So happy with how the mod looks.
Thanks
Great tutorial you made it very easy to follow and it looks great. 🤩😍
Always love the mod videos! 😊

I freaking love it 🍻 imagine adding a aio cooler 👌🏼👌🏼
I got one of those coloured fans that works on the series s so I don't really need colours under the fan good video bro👍😁
Fantastic 👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you for the Tutorial😊
That'll be super cool on a carbon series s

Pretty cool
What about heat ? If the heat melts the glue the leds fall of ? Or the glue is heat resistant?
LED light is hardly heat up at all. We try it lighting up for almost a day but it didn't get heated a bit.
@@catpersonality66 heat from the PSU AND FROM THE PROCESSOR 🤘
You right 😎👍
Not sure if its different in other countries , but in the US those stickers covering those screws do not mean anything.

To really only help it shine one way.
I'm not sure if I'm gonna get this, with my Easy Skin in cloudy dust. Unless I leave it white it'll look good.
There is no need to point the remote at the unit for the signal to be received.
Light Bright Edition
I got them about a year ago and they suddenly stopped working any fixes ?
Why won’t my lights turn on I’ve took it apart 4 times and checked wires and everything and can’t get it to work
I had the same problem, check battery in remote, mines was upside down.
There’s no warranty stickers on the series s and x!!!!!!

Are going to get the meta quest pro
I don’t think I will. £1500 is a lot of money
People in the future could be laughing with our current RGB obsession.
By which time it will have been proven, more RGB makes you better at gaming.
@@CTAtechdesk and more FPS 😂😂

I have bee saying that for years, you can never have enough lol
Wheres the link to order
In the description under “where to buy”
Will it block the airflow and will the overheat inside the xbox damage the RGB cable?
Please this is my first time using a console. Thanks!
No it doesnt, its thin enough to not block it at all.
You won’t void any warranty by removing the sticker and screw. Microsoft says so themselves
Yeah Taking that with a large pinch of salt
Lol yea you opened it. I'm sure most of those consoles will Outlast the warranty

Mine aint starting on
i really dnt know if this is safe in the long run
The rgb hardly draws any power nor does it prevent any air flow so will be fine.
Can you confirm this still @ctatechdesk?
I can turn on and play xbox without turn on the lights?
(Sorry if my english its bad ,i'm learning)
Yes
@@CTAtechdesk thanks
The series x led kit looks better on the series s because the bright lights light up the fan inside
you can tell that now it would outperform series x
I haven’t tested but I *think* by quite a margin too
Yeah but £37... sheeez, only some rgbs and a board to run it. Seems expensive for what they are
It is a lot but it is completely bespoke for the product and it is worth the price.
Won't work here man at all
Same
I hade the same problem, check the battery it might be in wrong.
Xbox series
,🙂
For $42 I’d rather just buy an Rgb fan
console gamers LMFAO.............just put a RGB fan in it ...........wow
