Impactor was created by Simon Furman for the Marvel UK comics as leader of the Wreckers (it includes toy characters that either couldn't make it in the cartoon due to copyright reasons or were saved for the movie/season 3). While Impactor was dedicated to his troops (despite the infamous body count), the same couldn't be said for his superiors (he calls Xaaron "wily old buzzard"). He died during the failed "Operation: Volcano", in his dying breath he named Springer as new leader. Flame (the rogue Autobot scientist) brought Impactor back as a zombie, only to die once more to prevent his machines from overloading.
Been going through your siege and earthrise reviews, and you have inspired me to finally start a channel and review my collection. I’m a forty year old Dad who until this week had never ever uploaded to YT! Thank you for your inspiration optibotimus
Impactor was an Autobot that was the original leader of, The Wreckers. But War gets to Impactor and he ends up doing stuff that the Decepticons would do. So he is imprisoned. He then breaks out of prison and goes after his Autobot comrades, plus he becomes a bad ass Decepticon.
Pretty cool review, I actually saw this guy a few days ago at a TRU, along with Mirage and Barricade, that I picked up while I was there, so it means that this wave is out now in stores, which is very cool, at least for the Deluxe class. I don't know if I'll pick up Impactor, but it's still a very cool Autobot with an interesting paintjob!
IMPACTOR, impacting the lives of every Transformers fans since the Wreckers decided to "Wreck-n-Rule" on the pages of Transformers comics. :) I hope this comment has impacted you. :D
I’m really interested to see what they do with the deception impactor figure in the show. What I think would be the best or most likely to happen is impactor goes on a wrecker mission a conflict or problem happens and impactor and he stays or is left behind, then the decepticons find him and he joins if he was left behind or is altered or reprogrammed by shockwave if he stays behind, then later he would sacrifice himself to save the autobots.
I recommend reading "Target: 2006" (issues 78-88) of the Marvel UK comics (it's part of Transformers: Classics - UK Vol. 3, now available on Apple Books app).
Hmm......Yeah, I could see them making The Fallen out of him. Although I'd prefer he was a Voyager he is a tall deluxe. And since they haven't done anything else with mold (I don't care about the 3 pack version) I could also see them making a Tarn or even a Straxus/Darkmount. Although if they make a new Voyager class Galvatron in the next 2 years a well overdue Voyager Straxus would be a perfect mold mate if done right. But Fallen could be great in Impactor's mold.
@@MudSluggerBP I'd prefer that Straxus next CHUG figure was a Voyager since he was a Tyrant that even made Megatron look over his shoulder in the comics. But this is Hasbro and they still probably don't even have rights over the name. But we'll see.
Now, while I think Impactor looks like a solid figure all around... there are two things I don't like about him: the hollow legs, and the poorly done headsculpt (in my opinion at least, and I'm not willing to buy the 3-pack just for him). I'm probably nitpicking at this point, but those two things are enough for me not to want this figure as much as others. If I see him on retail I _will_ consider getting him, but I will not be actively looking out for him.
I've said it before, and I'll say it again: Some of the people in this fandom make me glad I stay away from the fandom. Good review as always Paul. I *do* recommend getting your mitts on a copy of Target: 2006 at some point though. :P
His character in the Netflix series was pretty cool. His transition felt more natural than that of skyfire.
Skyfire or jetfire
He is originally a decepticon who later on becomes an autobot. For anyone confused by the decepticon varient
Thank you!
What made him defect?
Ah that makes sense.
@@Quantum_Magnus Better energon beer. Bots have the good stuff.
Where did you find that he was a former Decepticon?

Impactor is an Autobot and is sometimes the leader of the Wreckers.
Yeah I said all that lol

@@Commander_Shepard. Me too, all my Transformers comic info has come from browsing around Wikipedia. :)
@@TFfangeek Cool. I'll read the TFWiki page for Impactor.

Impactor is an Autobot?...with a paint sceme like that I thought he would obviously be a decepticon
there's a decepticon version of impactor
In the netflix ver he is but he go no aligence
He didn't die he killed some decepticons when he was ordered not to so they sent him to a prison
Well, you're wrong. He was killed taking a shot aimed at Emirate Xaaron by a Decepticon named Macabre.
@@TheSkyatollah have you read Lsotw or sotw?
@@TheSkyatollah and came back as an awesome zombie :)
@@Barbatos08th bruh, he is talking about impactor in his UK marvel comic incarnations
6:29 Anyone else get the idea that Hasbro could retool this figure somehow to get a Warpath figure?
me
One of the best characters Siege had
Great review! After I watched the series on Netflix I had to have him so I bought one on eBay today. I really like his character.
He can also be used as a Shattered Glass figure because where the Autobot insignia is placed. :)
If you kinda look at it around like 6:44 he kinda looks like Soundwaves specially abled brother Wavesound
넘 완벽한 임팩터!ㅋㅋ👍친절한 한글자막!구독 박아요~!ㅋㅋ
I also don't know about this Character much, however I really enjoy this Deluxe. I maybe will buy him, if he's available here in my Country xD

Coolest video ever I love transformers and your videos you inspired me to collect transformers
7 minutes ago you commented on a 19 minute long video. How do you figure it's the coolest one ever when you haven't watched it all?
Should I buy Sixgun or impactor
I was considering getting this, but then I decided on cog and sixgun instead. (because you can never have too many guns for your figures lol)
When will u review the new dropkick?
When I get to it
