Three wound care mistakes! Hear it from a board-certified dermatologist.
Does rubbing alcohol, hydrogen peroxide and neosporin work for your cuts and burns? Neomycin has a high prevalence rate (9%) of allergic contact dermatitis. I know a lot will say that it has not caused an allergy in them yet but I am just bringing up a common issue I have seen over the years. I prefer a petrolatum based ointment instead over your cuts/burns.

Repetitive use of peroxide is bad for the wound but you should definitely use it immediately after it happens to clean the area and kill bacteria to prevent further infection.

Feels nice to see someone actually educated (probably not by a board where they indoctrinate their own students) come out and say something factual. He didn’t even mention what you said - that it’s good to use immediately and not repetitively

Keep doing what they tell you to do and listen to their "science" and doctors. Your wound can heal itself including the infections unless you are an elderly or infant. The whole purpose of ethanol on wounds is to quickly eliminate the problem by killing your cells without having to fight the fever caused by infections. But this convenience come with a great cost. Which is the killing of your own cells forever without the body being able to fix it. It's an emergency use. Unless you're suffering from life threatening wounds no one should ever use ethanol to "treat" their wounds. On top of that, repetitive "treatment" of this method to the body will actually cause cancer and autoimmune diseases to develop due to the abnormal cells causing all sorts of irregularities as a result of the "emergency" treatment. So please just throw away all the medical advices you got from these corrupt evil doctors of the big daddy pharma... it's so vile what they advice us to do if you look and study deeper into its' fundamental basis of such methods.
I'm very surprised when this guy advices people to not use those methods because people in his department are usually very indoctrinated by their "science" and misinform the masses based on it. But one video is not enough to determine whether he is good or bad, so please bare that in mind and use our God gifted critical thinking when watching these "doctors" videos because they're usually all snakes in disguise of a savior/angels of humanity

My dermatologist told me that an allergy to neosporin is ranked right under allergies to nickel but people don't realize it causes more problems then helps! I found out the hard way when I contracted pink eye about 20 years ago. I'm allergic to sulfa so they prescribed neosporin eye drops! My eye swelled and I looked like Yoda! No more neosporin for me!!

    1.Use mild hydroperoxide.

    2.now it's cleaned,
    Apply antiseptic cream
-it inhibits the growth of bacteria
    3.now apply sterilised dressing
    -creates germ free env.

"When applied to an open wound, rubbing alcohol can cause tissue damage and actually slow the healing process. This also holds true for hydrogen peroxide, another common go-to disinfectant. Instead, the best way to clean a cut is to apply a mild soap and hold it under a slow stream of cool or cold running water."
