I'm gonna rant but I once had a fever and I literally had a fever dream that I was Gordon freeman, and the resonance cascade happened, but it was so weird and confusing lol. the next day I dreamt I was freeman and I was walking around city 17, and it felt really realistic and it was honestly a lot of fun, I got off the train, went into the city, wound up walking into a jail because I hear someone calling for help, but then a metro cop spotted me and said "what are you doing here?" and I was like "oh, uh, nothing" and he kept approaching me so I backed away and I said "sorry if I'm in the way, I don't mean to be a bother I'll just leave" and the cop says "stay there" and I go "okay no problem" and I stop, but I'm getting really nervous as he pulls out his stun stick, and then I go "look I'll just be on my way I didn't see anything" and he just laughs and walks up to me and zaps me, so I back up and he says "stay still" and I go "okay" and then he zapped me again, I didn't want to run because I was worried he'd just pull a gun on me then, so I kept taking the hits, but by the time I got outside, he shoved me unto the ground and just held the taser on my chest while telling me to "stop resisting", and like, it was a dream, but it really hurt like hell, it's hard to explain but the pain felt just as real, I just didn't quite perceive it as bad, though it still hurt a lot lol, but so anyways I was just getting tazed like hell and then I went "screw this" and I grabbed his gun off his belt and shot him, and then the other metro cops looked at me and started firing, so I ran like hell and got around a corner, and stayed there, and then when they came across the corner, I shot 2 of em as they thought I'd keep running, then the other cop grazed my elbow as I started running again; I crossed another corner and this time a rebel saw me and took me inside a building, but my problems weren't over: combine soldiers came crashing through the glass ceiling of the warehouse we were in and started to fire at us, one of my rebel friends died, so I took his smg and started firing, looking around for cover. I also just got the crowbar magically as well as the HEV suit (dream logic lol) and started looking for ammo as I was behind cover. Once we took all the combine out, we were picked up by helicopter, which Alyx Vance was on, then the dream ended. The dream afterwards continued on a train that we were riding, but was stopped. I got off and started riding a motor bike, straight into the forest were I came into contact with tribal people (not making this up) and I was like "can I stay the night? I don't need food or anything I just want to be left alone" and they started shooting arrows at me, and one pierced me right through the chest and again, it FELT like a real arrow was in my chest, and it did hurt (the dream was still really fun though) so anyways I woke up, and then I realized; the arrow is still in my chest! In fact, I was suspended a bit over my bed because the arrow was in the way, so I couldn't lay flay on my back. But then it faded away and I fell to my bed, so I went back to sleep because I was sick and I didn't really want to suffer being awake (I'd rather get shot and stabbed with arrows and bullets then suffer a sore throat) and also I wanted to beat the shit out of that tribe so when I got back in the dream I just drove back, and opened fire: I got 3 of them, and then one snook up behind me and stabbed be with an arrow, so I looked at him and his grin and went "yea ha ha great job" as I was wincing in pain, then I woke up in my bed same as before with the arrow still in me, as it faded away. so I went back again and I just started lobbing grenades while checking behind my back like a schizo lol, but then the guy somehow backstabbed me again, so I woke up in my room, but this time he was there as well, and he was kinda terrified because he had no idea were he was. so then he faded away and I just got up because I was kinda getting tired of being stabbed repeatedly. The cool thing about the whole experience is it felt really real, but deep in my subconscious I was aware I wasn't in real danger, so it was kinda fun, but also I fully felt like I was "Gordon Freeman" I had his entire personality, or at least what I would think his personality is, and it felt really real, so super immersive experience lol, but also really utterly insane lmao. TL;DR I dreamt I was Gordon freeman while I was sick and I fought metro cops, combine, and some tribal people
