That was painful to watch…to many chefs in the kitchen that don’t know how to cook. this is what happens when you have too many people doing stuff they don’t know what they’re doing.
no kidding. pulling cable at the easy part because of going sideways on the trail... I've been through the actual gate keeper in a stock 09 rubi with stock tires and 2" budget lift and then all the way up this section and I'm just scratching my head watching this. Has it changed that much? Also, i don't get the pedal commander thing. Just go old school 1 to 1. If I push the skinny pedal a little, I want to go a little. If i push the skinny pedal a lot, I want to go a lot. You can't feel the bump as well if their is a computer translating between you and the engine.
Don't underestimate throttle controllers! I've done testing where sometimes 4 high with a throttle controller works better than 4 low without a controller (as far as slip prevention goes)! True story. The first time I ever went off-roading was on a beach in Aruba in a Suzuki Samurai. My dad won a trip and that was one of the things we did.
Is Jeff going to make it out to Windrock? Would be fun to have a samurai to wheel with again. Btw… after about 2 years, my pedal commander has stopped working. I’m sad…
I don’t think it’s quite fair to say “Jeff made it through the gatekeeper part of Daniel.” The off-camber chute/incline is a somewhat challenging obstacle, and he did that one well. But the real “gate” is the very beginning of that stretch where you have to take the large rock formation head on. Jeff easily went right around that via the bypass which rates as a beginner trail. Now, here is someone who “made it through the gate at Daniel”: ruclips.net/user/shortsN-4NyqtNgDQ?si=TSP79OEtxSqswGno
I probably wouldn’t done it either because of theirs a big difference in price $$$ repair ripping the side off of a $ 80,000. Vehicle compared to the samurai repair. I would say , you know your time to pick which battle that you’re win . Semper fi
Prudence is totally necessary and wise on certain situations! Good for you, Brad! As usual, awesome video of a very technical trail!
So much fun watching these videos Brad!!! Can't wait to try it for myself!

Good stuff Brad. Enjoyed it.
9:21 why are we winching right here? It’s been a minute since I’ve been to uwharrie but 4wd isn’t even required for this spot.

My stock XJ did the Daniel without damage but I’ll never try it again!
The Sammi did a great job!
That rock isn’t meant for that. It’s for a vehicle made completely out of tires.
Do you think 37" would be better here than a 35"
I dinged the top of my door on the switch back on Daniel lol that’s what I get for soloing it

He won’t be there in May. But will be in June.
@@ProdigalOverland Well, that’s a bummer.

Sad day for Gladiators pride!....😂😂
I wouldn’t worry about what a guy that’s rolled his vehicle thinks
I struggled to watch this whole video. Very painful.
Davis Ruth Jones Elizabeth Miller Christopher
Pansy and his soyboy store bought Fiat got out-classed by a 40 year old Samurai. Can we have some videos of just the Samurai?
you guys really need to watch some basic 4x4 techniques...
