The production value us not that high, but it is miles better than the previous attempt at a live action. I could barely finish 1 ep of that other seies. This one actually sticks to the source material! Imma continue watching
But no matter what the act .... Its still will not be better than the anime " soul land" if you have tried it go for it..... Tang San and xiao wu....guys that's the best anime ever and " battle through the heavens" the anime ❤❤❤

Already finshed watching all ep bt rewatching again cuz I juz love it a lotttt.....one of the best this year ❤ love the actors of tangsan n xiao wu....it's very well done almost same to anime though some changes in scene bt i like it.....n i hf to say ta drama was more detailed regarding some scene compared to anime...n compared to s1 this is much much better.. cgi n actors did well....the actor of tangsan is new to me bt he became one of my fav...plz let there be s3 with same actor
I think they don't want the series to be lengthy thats why they started with the competition but still soul land donghua is an emotion no one can surprass it even in series like this but lets just watch for now
This is a second season, they started off with the competition because the first season Douluo Continent ended with the competition as the last episode. (The main cast was fully changed, in 1st season Xiao Zhan acted as the Tang San).

also are they just skipping all his old life skills from the tang clan when he threw the soul bone pieces in the original it was a skill from his old life that reflected all the pieces over and over again till they hit there target forgot the name but it look way cooler in the anime .

the need to add some old school martial arts the sequences are lack luster and there to focused on soul skills and special effects. still love it .

no this is a live action of the whole series , there is a soul land 2 but that is after tang san is a god and is basically a story about there kid .
