    Did it. Had problems to close the top lid again (the black did not attach correctly to the white plastic thingy).
    I cleaned it with Isopropanol and an ultrasonic bath -> its broken now 😅 after trying the first print, one high spule noise and gone...

    Watch out and don't move on too fast at time code 03:03: If you disconnect the small upper white cable on the back on the left side, you will run in to the problem of not getting it back in. Congratulations to myself. 😲🤯

    • @clauspeterknoll
      @clauspeterknoll 3 года назад +4

      1. I bought a bent tweezer (16 cm) from Amazon for 5.99 Eur.
      2. I wrapped a very little piece of ductape around the end of the cable right before the contacts for a better grip for the tweezer onto the cable and for more stiffness of the cable.
      3. Put the cable between the tweezer, hold very tight and put the cable back in. You probably need to take off the lid of the printer as well as the long plastic cover (watch ruclips.net/video/FweisSJrOb0/видео.html - Timecode 6:55 - 7:23)
      4. It took a few attemps but after about 10 trial and errors I got it back in, yeahhh!
      Once I also tried to take the whole printer apart which took me about 2 hours and another hour to put it back together. But I would not recommend that because after that it made strange sounds and did not work anymore.
      Enjoy the process! ;-)

    While working on mine, the white hinge for the lid has jammed its way back when I pulled the top off, and is now stuck not allowing me to reconnect the top, I would suggest not taking the scanner lose, I am spending more time trying to fix this then I did unclogging the head, and it was bad. Where is the easy button.

    So I've taken two of these out and one the top half of the printhead broke off pulling a tube off the nipple, the second I took out and it also broke the same way but I didn't force it. I just carefully lifted it off. They should be tightly connected or not? If so you think I could glue them together?

    I was putting alcohol through a syringe connected to the nipples down in there and pulling th e tube off detached the while piece on top breaking this seam with a gasket in between open. I can place it back on where it was but it's not sealed. Did I break it? Same exact model

    • @303electronics
      @303electronics  7 месяцев назад +1

      I'm trying to figure out where the seam is that you are talking about. I honestly do not think that you damaged anything by what you are explaining, but I'll look at the printer once more to see if I can give advice. Thanks.

      @juntjoonunya9216 7 месяцев назад

      @@303electronics you know those nipples which fit under the ink cartridges. It would be the top of the printhead I guess. Well it's it's own piece. If I'm not mistaken, a little plastic piece broke off from the printhead in guessing had fit into the nipple piece/face to hold it in place.
      Yeah, it seals to the top of printhead so the ink doesn't leak out in between. So there's an actual rubber I guess gasket. Under the nipples on the other side of place/face that is pressed in if plate is secured right. My eyes are bad so can't see how it's secured exactly till I get in there myself which I'll try to do today. Thanks

      get yourself some small tweezers to align it and then push gently with the finger so all the force is applied to the blue "robust" part of the ribbon cable

    Do you know if "scanning error" means that I didn't put the wire strips in correctly? I just did all steps in this video, turned it on, and the ink tray is able to glide across, so now I have them out on the track with the printer unplugged.

    • @303electronics

      It may mean that. Check the connection and make sure pins on the connector are touching the golden side of the wire.

      I see what the problem may be. The spring loaded hinge on the right is either up or down. If it is up, the lid needs to installed at a 45 degree angle,

    • @SomarDee

      It seems that these have a tendency for the nozzle to break . The tip of my nozzle broke off about 3 weeks after purchase. With only enough pressure to place the cartridge. I see good amount of post with this issue. I never had the time to return the item or repair it until now several years later. 😮 My feed nozzle broke on the black ink. Brand spanking new. Smh. Thanks for the video. This video was the only one that was able to help me figure out exactly what to press to remove the chip board. The hardest part was finding where to press. 😅

      The scanner wire needs to be reconnected to the main board. The side cover removes to do that. When you open the top too far, it may cause the scanner wire to disconnect from main board.
