There is 154cm spring latch 42 plain edges with a cutout at the base of the knife's spine. They were the very last 42 revision as far as I know.

I just recently got a 42 t latch and I noticed that one of my pivot screws was recessed into the handle further than the other one. The third 42 you show seems to have the same characteristic. Interesting.
The first production 42s had the flat pivot screws like that. They changed them to the rounded ones on the standard production models.
@@moebalisong I understand. The screws are both rounded, it’s just one sits further into the handle than the other.

When did they start making the 154CM spring latch one? Same time as the 440C one and you could choose between the two steels, or did they come after each other?
