Thanks Cecile!! I'm editing my Common App essay right now, so these tips are super helpful. I'd love to see a video about Brown's supplemental essays too!
Hey Cecile. Thank you so much for your advice. I had a query regarding my College Essay Topic, that is "my growth from Alexithymia and Bend Down by the societal pressures, lack-of-confidence" to "have my own voice and identity, that is me as a Songwriter". I was thinking of how my cat (who sadly passed away in the 2021), helped me in doing this. What do u think about this topic?
I know this isn't direct to me but whatever ideas you got, just make it connect to one big theme that you want the reader to understand. Your topic is good, it is from your experience, a lot of people have what you have and the tricky part is making it connect together.
I have already taken the grade 12 final board exam, and my results have also been published. However, my official transcript will not be published by the examination board until November 15, and the university deadline is November 1. I am literally in trouble. what should I do? Please help me.
I was just curious if me being a Canadian student wanting to study in the US with parents that immigrated from Europe classifies me as a first-generation American student (thereby being eligible for the Notable Narrative program)?
have you lied, stolen, used God's name in vain, or lusted after someone (which God sees as adultery)? if so, you have broken God's law, the ten commandments, and have sinned against God. The Bible says in Romans 6:23 that the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Put your trust in Jesus Christ, His death paid the debt for YOUR sins. Trust in Jesus, and He will give you eternal life, a free gift from God that can't be achieved or gotten by works!!
