How can anyone make the claim “greed is taught” when generally one of the first things we teach kids after how to use a toilet is the concept and importance of “sharing”.
It's so funny bc you could say the same about religious ppl. They justify everything nonsensical they do as their type of morality. Except it's "Marx says" not "God says" And socialists hate religions for exactly that reason. Such hypocrites
greed is not taught it has to be trained out of people. the most greedy, violent, selfish person on earth is a 1.5 year old who isn't getting their way, luckily they're small.
A wise man once said to Ethan: "You will be held to higher and higher and soon impossible standards by the mob you currently wish to please. Then you will make a mistake, and they will devour you. With glee."
"Greed is taught" I would argue literally the exact opposite everyone who has kids knows that kids HAVE to be taught to share, their default mode is wanting everything for themselves.
I have a feeling this partnership / friendship / show between Ethan and Hassan ain’t gonna last long…. It’d be fucking hilarious if Ethan just eventually replaces him with destiny

Billionaires aren’t a problem. It only becomes a problem when 99% of the wealth is in the hands of 1% of the population. The over abundance of wealth for the few will directly effect the lives and well being of the many. At that point it becomes a problem.
Their entire ideology is based around victimisation and envy. Deep down they don't believe that they can be successful as individuals so they must work together in large groups to bully others and make sure that no one can win. Obviously you need some regulation to prevent things getting out of hand but I think that part is common sense for most people.

Employers have EVERYTHING at risk. Usually an employer has everything on the line with their business. The employee simply goes and gets another job. I will admit, it may not be so simple in some situations. However, the employer will usually lose everything if their business goes under.
Maybe it depends on scale? I imagine most ppl in management will have more than enough money left I’ve to themselves if a company goes under where as the employees are the ones that take the hit and get laid off if things go south.
It's such a dumb argument to make to Ethan. He has two smallish businesses. Of course he's going to see the flaws in nationalising (or forcefully handing control over to workers) all or large parts of US businesses. And Dan's profit sharing idea is ridiculous. If applied to the H3 podcast, everytime Ethan gets cancelled (once every couple of months) they will all receive massive pay cuts. The show entirely exists around Ethan and what he wants to do, it would make him enslaved to the show and cause resentment between them all. Employees prefer a set generous paycheck.
@@ataraxia7439 we are not talking about managers. Managers are employees too. Business owners usually have everything they own tied up as capital to start and/or run a business. Employees take a hit by being temporaarily unemployed. The owner takes a hit in the form of pretty much losing all the capital they invested to start and/or run the business.
I hope this evolves into Hasan going and having Destiny on. I'd watch that immediately, would be amazing content with proper arguments and thoughts instead of grifting
PLOT TWIST: This is a Hasan plan to increase his viewership without him actually changing his politics, just let Ethan be the Moderate voice (far right by Hasan's crowd standards) and if it doesn't work out Ethan will take the blame and Hasan stays clean in the eyes of his core audience...
God the 'indigenous communities were commies' argument is so so so stupid. First, besides the incan empire which used obligatory labor and work as currency, there's no evidence of this. (The labor was obligated by the state as well, this could be arguably some type of socialism but it's just as arguably serfdom with fewer steps) Second, small scale and homogenous traditional communities almost always are more communitarian BUT this comes at a cost, you need a lot of shared social and moral values and most often shared ethnic lineage to all agree on many different types of norms around cooperation(and people who don't conform for some reason face huge repercussions) and basically you can't have a scaled up society or a cosmopolitan society with this sort of communalism. Third, all documented indigenous tribes would routinely raid, war with and conquer lands if other tribes this might not be capitalist market greed but it is a greed for more resources of some type(also obviously all types of societies do this so not trying to single them out). Fourth, the whole thing is ahistorical and offensive romanticization of indigenous groups as 'noble savages' or 'hippie earth children' that has many negative effects on native Americans today. Fifth, when humans are actually in small scale subsistence tribal societies(as all humans once were) there are material problems that lead to famine and disease and death, if you have JUST ENOUGH food to go around, well a slightly worse or longer winter leads to starvation, a few new births lead to babies going hungry and a few untimely deaths by people who otherwise would be contributing food and resources lead to a community wide crisis. This is why, native American cultures ESPECIALLY pre Columbian exchange(which did dramatically change the landscape due to disease death) were successfully scaled up very similarly to cultures around the world with resource excess, trade and market based economies and even environmental degradation around urban(for the time) hubs. It's only coincidence of specific types of germs and immune systems that European cultures for the most part didn't directly witness large scale cultures that were actually very similar to their own in both north and south America. SO when people make that claim they are tacitly saying they would prefer traditionalist ethno states as opposed to cosmopolitan states, they are actively being racist and diminishing the accomplishments of culture by indigenous people and 'othering' them essentially as mythical forest people, they are saying that they'd rather have everyone experience deprivation of resources rather than some have surplus and they are making a mockery of history and currently living native American communities because they are talking over their actual histories and traditions.

When they’re talking about “greed” and “selfishness” I can’t help to think about how they define those two words. I mean, surely someone out there will call someone who simply wants more in general, a greedy person. If you think you deserve a raise, could you be called greedy? As a lifelong h3 fan. I have to point out that the community took a huge turn when hassans audience came around. Its not the fact ethan generally changed the style of content its the hassan people. Ethan is always genuine in his approach and i dont think hes at all aware how mental the online left are.
I'm an older fan too and yeah, it's so funny seeing people say he's finally changed because of this lol. He's always been like this, constantly fighting with his audience.
This reminds me of how he explained his pivot away from anti-SJW content. He noticed his audience turning into alt-right Trumpanzees and was horrified at the thought of having to pander to right-wing idiots for a living. I think he's experiencing a similar revelation now.
Im still waiting to see how ethan handles other situations... he still has to show me that he doesnt go into a debate with super bad faith like he usually does
It’s actually nice to see Ethan reevaluate his positions. Because there absolutely was a time when he would say all billionaires are evil no matter what. In fact I know for a fact he’s said that. While in the past I’d be quick to call him a hypocrite (because he has been a pretty big one in the past) I think for the first time he actually isn’t being bad faith and just grifting for his audience. He’s still being a bit cautious by saying Dan and Hasan know more than him (which is laughable because they just regurgitate talking points and don’t actually truly understand what they’re talking about)
I love how people talk about socialism without actually visiting a former socialist country, a current socialist country, or a working social democracy.
Greed is taught?? I've never had to teach my kids or any of my nieces or nephews to be greedy. I have had to teach every one of them how to share though.
I find it funny how people apparently have to put on kids' gloves when discussing socialism or communism in fear of upsetting those who believe in it so fervently. Why would anyone bother engaging with these children
Hasan is getting humiliated by a guy who got famous smearing his face in nacho cheese and ranch dressing. Ethan is finally waking up to the BS of breadtubers
It grosses me out that Ethan is adjusting his rhetoric to be more radical in this segment to cater to these irrational r##rds, to appease and ease them, as if they should have any affect on him at all.
There are three ways this ends: 1) Ethan has the talk. Nobody really changes their minds. People move on. 2) Ethan has the talk. Destroys Dan and Hasan with FACTS and LOGIC. They have a falling out. He goes on a lefty arc. 3) Ethan has the talk. Cucks himself to Dan and Hasan. Starts pandering to commies. I'm praying for the second ending.
"Greed is taught." Looking at our former family dog finding ways to steal food from tables against our teachings. And the rest of the animal kingdom works as an example for the opposite of the claim as well.
I used to be a huge H3H3 fan back in the day. but once he started getting political, he definitely got cringe with his takes. And that hurt, cause he was great back in the day. If this saga pulls him out of that side of youtube and helps to open his eyes, I would love that. I feel like Ethan could be an S Tier Orbiter if he joined the crew (I know he wouldnt technically be an orbiter but same difference)

Hasan's community has been parasitically spreading into Ethan's. He's already gotten rid of all the right-wing people who used to like him, a lot of people gave up on him because of how badly the podcast effected him. So all that's left are people who expect him to fall in line with their talking points. The crazy thing is that we all thought he was a willing participant in that change, but now it seems like he wasn't. It's like that scene in the second Lord of the Rings movie, where Gandalf shows up and saves the sickly king from being puppetted and he gains his sanity and health back. BTW I bet Hasan refuses to go on leftovers on friday and let Ethan confront him.

It would actually be crazy if Ethan replaced Hasan with Destiny for his co host or even just do 1 podcast collab ep with destiny. I think Hasan would actually just crumble.
How can anyone make the claim “greed is taught” when generally one of the first things we teach kids after how to use a toilet is the concept and importance of “sharing”.
"Mine" is learned right after "momma" lmao.
Based + logic + common sense + well said
Ethan and Sneako seeing what their communities actually think is pretty funny
See Ethan, that's the problem.
You have questions. These "people" don't like you questioning them because their ideals are based solely on "morality".
Lol why is people in quotes tho bro 😅
@@aries8910do they qualify as people?
@NicheGreens bar is low enough for them to get through methinks. Not exactly a good kind of people, that's for sure.
It's so funny bc you could say the same about religious ppl. They justify everything nonsensical they do as their type of morality. Except it's "Marx says" not "God says"
And socialists hate religions for exactly that reason. Such hypocrites
All these videos are ticking to the inevitable Destiny/Ethan podcast arc
That’s what the world needs
greed is not taught it has to be trained out of people. the most greedy, violent, selfish person on earth is a 1.5 year old who isn't getting their way, luckily they're small.
A wise man once said to Ethan:
"You will be held to higher and higher and soon impossible standards by the mob you currently wish to please. Then you will make a mistake, and they will devour you. With glee."
Honestly it’s so nice seeing Ethan getting some wins, it’s good that he’s actually pushing back against Hasan’s bullshit.
Ong. It needs to be an unspoken rule to have at least one guy to pushback on Hasan
"Greed is taught"
I would argue literally the exact opposite
everyone who has kids knows that kids HAVE to be taught to share, their default mode is wanting everything for themselves.
I’ve never liked Ethan but now I can’t wait till he and Destiny have a chat.
Destiny is always waiting in the shadows. Always waiting. Always watching.
This is exactly what JP warned Ethan about. His beloved community will turn on him in an instant.
Lmao I agree with Ethan here but u bringing up Jordan Peterson the biggest clown to exist online had me rolling

This Ethan arc is wild and I am here for it, seeing Hasan get pushback for once from someone other than a commenter in his community is refreshing.
Anyone who has more than one kid knows greed isn’t thought.
Man, am I glad Ethan is opening his eyes before presidential campaigns start to refine
Ethan pushing back on Hasan over political efficacy is going to be so amazing. Hasan is going to say really stupid shit against dems I guarantee it
I feel like Ethan has been watching Destiny behind Hasan's back
“Larry David never misses.” Didn’t he endorse FTX? I’d call that a miss.
I have a feeling this partnership / friendship / show between Ethan and Hassan ain’t gonna last long…. It’d be fucking hilarious if Ethan just eventually replaces him with destiny
Hope he fires Dan.
@@deeky1239I feel bad for Dan. He seems like a good dude. You could tell when he was commenting on this that he was confused. He wasn't able to articulate his views and it seemed like it was the first time he ever had to articulate them.
@@Zinojn Why was he so condescending then?
Either way, Ethan accidentally going too far left is still a million times better than Sneakos realization of being an actual cancer to society
Both are cancer
“Class traitor!!!”> “Fuck women! Fuck women!”
Lesser of 2 evils
💯
Sneako didn't take responsibility for that. He blamed rainbow flags
No. Sneako is based.
So my theroy is Dan is actively dumbing Ethan down the last few years.
Dan seems like a victim of the ultra left as well. He is chill I hope he comes out of it being a lefty
Almost every time I’ve heard him speak I was disappointed, so I don’t have high hopes.
"Billionaires shouldn't exist" is straight up the most "I'm 14 years old and this is deep" thing I've heard yet. Hasan subs are crazy 💀
Money = the ability to buy policies you want, even wars. Democracy is fundamentally incompatible with the existence of billionaires.
@@JudasMaccabeus1 isn’t that inevitable? What’s a better percentage for the wealth? 10%? 25%?
Greed is not taught. It is disciplined out of you as a child.
The more time that goes by and the more he dives in, the more Ethan seems to be an honest, seemingly good faith character. I’ll admit, I’m starting to become a fan
He has always been good faith. Just not very patient or diligent
I'm not, I saw his heel turn when he had his "awakening" or w.e. I'll never trust Ethan or Hassan to be sincere on absolutely anything unless it suits them.
@@Gnostic88 bruv, Ethan is probably more prolific for burning bridges than destiny. If he holds a belief he is ride or die. He just doesn't do alot of research or thinking ahead of time.

Ethan needs to hold these W’s. Definitely earned them
Hasan and Dan actually accidentally showing Ethan how ridiculous and toxic their politics are.
Laughed out loud at the cut to Hasan saying it’s against Ethan’s best interest.
Man, I really hope he has a conversation with Destiny.
There was nothing altruistic about stone age or bronze age peoples on any continent.

@placate9051 yeah but that's not inherently evil, that's just opinions and internet shit talk.
(The labor was obligated by the state as well, this could be arguably some type of socialism but it's just as arguably serfdom with fewer steps)
Second, small scale and homogenous traditional communities almost always are more communitarian BUT this comes at a cost, you need a lot of shared social and moral values and most often shared ethnic lineage to all agree on many different types of norms around cooperation(and people who don't conform for some reason face huge repercussions) and basically you can't have a scaled up society or a cosmopolitan society with this sort of communalism.
SO when people make that claim they are tacitly saying they would prefer traditionalist ethno states as opposed to cosmopolitan states, they are actively being racist and diminishing the accomplishments of culture by indigenous people and 'othering' them essentially as mythical forest people, they are saying that they'd rather have everyone experience deprivation of resources rather than some have surplus and they are making a mockery of history and currently living native American communities because they are talking over their actual histories and traditions.

how did this devolve into the h3 comment section asking for Vaush to be on the podcast and 'teach ethan'
Ethan Hasan content > John Xena Dairy Milk content
Why doesnt destiny just talk to ethan? I feel like that would be good content
Hasan and Ethan’s audience would have a collective stroke
Ethan probably does not like Destiny. Destiny is on good terms with Aba
Poor Ethan. He’s getting a glimpse of how Hasan thinks.
When they’re talking about “greed” and “selfishness” I can’t help to think about how they define those two words. I mean, surely someone out there will call someone who simply wants more in general, a greedy person. If you think you deserve a raise, could you be called greedy?
In the end, I’m generally going to distrust extremes from the left and right when it comes to setting standards or definitions for words
Honestly, it's boring but taking 2 extremes and finding a reasonable middle is usually the way to go.
@@atabixx I’m not disagreeing with that, I’m simply saying, using one extreme as the default for your logic is a bad idea. Both sides notoriously weight definitions, evidence and sources in their favor. Naturally, yes, I’m suggesting use both sides. I’m just adding to that by saying, don’t anchor yourself to anything
@@justaname109 Yeah I was agreeing with you. Taking the middle is usually the best course of action unless you know about the subject extensively and anchoring yourself to any one philosophy is really bad too. Happened with red pill. Ethan having baked alaska moment and realizing how extreme his audience is is so fucking funny.
As a lifelong h3 fan. I have to point out that the community took a huge turn when hassans audience came around. Its not the fact ethan generally changed the style of content its the hassan people.
He’s still being a bit cautious by saying Dan and Hasan know more than him (which is laughable because they just regurgitate talking points and don’t actually truly understand what they’re talking about)
"greed is taught" then why do we have to actively teach children to share?
I love how people talk about socialism without actually visiting a former socialist country, a current socialist country, or a working social democracy.
Greed is taught?? I've never had to teach my kids or any of my nieces or nephews to be greedy. I have had to teach every one of them how to share though.
Larry David “do you just want to merder kids”
Super high level argumentation.. lmao
I’m sorry but people saying that Ethan wants to be a billionaire and that’s why he’s defending them is the funniest shit
Ethan: We are solving this whole capitalism thing on thursday
There are three ways this ends:
1) Ethan has the talk.

Hasan's community has been parasitically spreading into Ethan's. He's already gotten rid of all the right-wing people who used to like him, a lot of people gave up on him because of how badly the podcast effected him. So all that's left are people who expect him to fall in line with their talking points.
