All three personality types we've ever seen when we were in school are on display here. Armstrong is the nerdy kid that annoys everyone with his knowledge. Aldrin is the grumpy jock that doesn't want any B.S. Collins is the quiet kid that just sits and does his thing. No wonder the mission was a resounding success!

One of the questions at the end kind of struck a personal note. The reporter asked the time between a hypothetical failure to lift off the Moon and Mike coming back to Earth. That is quite daunting and I suspect that one can see Neil and Buzz visibly disturbed by said question. Buzz was even holding his pen aggressively, possibly thinking that his wife might become even more worried.
On a positive note, when Mike is asked if he feels disappointed that he won't walk on the Moon, Neil reiterates that the CMP has a much importance as himself and the LMP. Love that about him, a true leader.

narajuna no, he was definitely at best, socially aloof. Guaranteed that if the U.S. had the chance to do it over, we would have picked a more sociable, charismatic guy to be the first guy on the moon. Jesus, he went into hiding for like 30 years and completely stayed out of any type of public eye.
