      EXACTLY. This video is kinda shocking. There are two reasons why AfD is rising. 1. russian influence 2. calling all people who are concerned about crime and unregulated immigration - far right - is not good long term political strategy.
      If you ignore rising concerns about immigration, crime and economy and call everybody voicing their concerns - far right, after some time they might start believing you. And russia exploits this sentiment. The solution is co address the problems, even admitting that you dont have a solution yet is better than straight up dismissing peoples concerns.
      If a voter says: "look there is a problem, over there, just look!"
      And politician answers: "no there is not, just dont look that direction or you are far right"
      - Is the voter going to vote for this politician? How ridiculous this whole segment is.
      People are saying: "hey, politicians, we are concerned about immigration and crime, can you do something about this pleas?"
      And politicians are like: "we have no idea why people dont vote for us, it must be something in the water, or maybe is it the weather? We have no clue what those voters want."
      Yes not working with AfD is a good start, but it should be followed by starting to address the problems which concern AfD voters in the first place, why they even go for AfD. This is so delusional.

    • @mikaelafox6106
      @mikaelafox6106 2 месяца назад

      Because it doesn't fit with the ruling political elite's views. It's the same in the US. The political elite hate Trump because they can't control him. He's being lied about to voters so the democrats can stay in power's which means the US citizens are going to endure more high inflation, more illegal border crossers, and more lies. That means more people unable to pay bills, feed families, or enjoy life.

    I think people do not vote for far right parties because people are being radicalized. It's central parties who are really being radicalized. They have stopped caring about real problems of the their countries and people; life standards and excpectations in the West is lowering, people have huge concerns toward security and their way of living. So many foreigners have rushed to the European citires in short term and there are so many other real problems. However, centralist parties aside from finding solutions, they are worsening those problems and moreover, they are reason of it. So, when far right parties talk about real problems and promise solutions, normal people start to listen to them. Ironically, centralist parties are way more radical, irrational, delusional, adventurist, destructive, distanced from reality and people and etc.
