Denmark has a social democrat lead centrist government
@@moif_velocita Which is though on migration
I love DW's "since 1945" slur. You can't actually call AdF N4ZI because you'd get sued, so you just infer it. You are about as objective and honest as Rachel Madow.
What election was held in Germany in 45? Why say since 45?
The result of globalization has some pretty hard repercussions.
Far anything is alarming but if mainstream parties refuse to listen to its people than what does one expect..
"Far right"... LOL.
Sounds like they just want common sense in their government.
Politicians and mainstream media are aligned to closely. No scrutiny the entire system is elitist and out of touch with the public. They need to wake up and be more self critical and encourage criticism from media and others
What kind of expert is that who doesn't even mention immigration among the reasons why AfD is getting more popular?
A very inexpert expert.
There is nothing wrong with one’s love of their country.
AfD wins with 33% : that's not relevant for the democracy!
Labor wins with 20% of popular vote: " the people have spoken!" 😂
I wouldn’t be afraid of a lesbian Chancellor. I‘d be terrified of a „constitutional oversight“ that calls the „sharia caliphate a conceivable form of government“. A horror in the making.
CDU did a terrible job. There should be consequences. And how did Germany came to a point when only far right (don't like them) can address the most important issues of the country?
I read the AFD policies, wich appear to be just common sense to me. Section 13 for example; Animals Are Sensitive Creatures-- The AfD is committed to a rigorous implementation of
animal protection acts. Animals are not soulless objects, but
fellow creatures. Exceptions for cruel or unnecessary animal
experiments should not be permitted, even if conducted for
scientific purposes...
Does not sound Right Wing to me.
whatever side anyone is on , the people have spoken and got what they want for better or for worse

i dont see a problem. Germany for the GERMANS.
''We got a real problem''
when democracy doesn't go their way.
This type of headlines just makes this issues bigger. When politicians start to ignore the problem of the people who got them into power things become very dangerous because the voters get frustrated
It’s not called far right party.
Excuse me but neither of those positions are " Far Right"
You can all blame Angela's open border and everyone who came after her and kept it open
The world has had enough
Of the Looney left
The left has never been in power in the east.
I am not German but I've a question, they're considered "far right" because their policy is not to giving money to Ukraine and curb migration?😂😂😂
Yes on point, especially the migration thing. 😅🤣😂
1/3 of the state is by definition not far right.
1. Neoliberalism is dying
2. Western politics considers compromise, negotiations, and diplomacy as toxic behavior
Against war and illegal immigrants WOW that's way to right wing
It’s just about too late for Europe. The foothold is so well established that it will require actions not seen in many decades to reverse.
So the other parties conspire to prevent the winning party actually getting power. Yes, that sounds very democratic indeed...
you mean the majority rules? weird.
@@nafet
'The majority '? It is a majority only in the sense that they are all opposed to the party that has won the election.
Those who have voted for the AfD are in effect disenfranchised.
Mob rules*
@@ConradAingerI'll make it simple for you. AfD was the party with the most votes. If other parts enter a coalition, their votes are combined. If their votes are combined they might have more votes than the AfD and therefore become the ruling government. The AfD didn't win anything.
@_rkrd
So the party with the most votes wins nothing. Therefore those who voted for it have gained nothing, their votes are obviated.
Why should they participate in such a form of democracy?
It is almost like the people aren't happy with the status quo.
It’s funny how they say the party that had more POPULAR votes is undemocratic.. 😂😂😂
This isn’t surprising given the huge mess Germany has imported.
The majority of CDU voters are above 60. The majority of voters of AfD are below 30. The youth are angry and tired of this woke dystopia
when moderate democratic parties fail to listen to the people, the extremes become more palatable.
Damn this news coverage is embarrassing
I am an engineer and european and I cant find a job in Germany
Maybe they should have investigated the right wing Azov Battalion in UKRAINE before sending them so much money...
Democracy should always win.
It loses if a party is elected that will abolish it. The afd stand for fascism and is not even hiding it.
The arrogance of DW treating this as an emergency.
AFD is not "far right". Wanting what's best for the German people is not an extremist position.
Man wow yeah its such a mystery what could possibly be happening in the country that could make people vote this way? Man it's such a mystery wow
EU is the problem.

Such hopeful news. Keep leading the rest of the Western governments that are sluggish in taking action to protect their own citizens.
I didn't know that protecting your borders and way of life was far right.
lol when your party doesn’t win then I guess the democracy is broken. Reckon yo ought to re-educate these voters. Such deplorables…
They keep saying the party that won is "extrimist party", if you ask them why are they extremist, ask them to tell you just one extremist stand of the party, they won't tell you. Being against supporting Ukrane is horrible but it's not extrimist, being against mass illegal migration is not extrimist. This is just useless term they use to label none radical leftists parties.
Sorry. Ukraine's fate is horrible but it isn't Germany's problem. German TAXPAYERS' problems first 🤷♂️

Isn't it what democracy is all about?! The people vote for those believed to provide solutions to their concerns??? Why the complaint?!
The same happened in Denmark. The left learned the lesson, adopted some controversial laws and earned conservative votes. The right was sent to the sewage again. Hopefully the moderate German parties will do the same.
the problem is the immigration. no uncontrolled immigration, no islamization > no "far-right"
A pure Putin party
remind me what happened to 1200 german women in new years 2016
Immigration is out of control.
Thats the wef plan then they can implement digital currency
Nice! The exact party we need in Canada right now. Congrats Germany!! Way to stand up
If people of germany vote them how it's thread for democracy they won by people vote.
Germany, the extreme right in your case is never the answer. And flirting with Putin's Russia is the worst possible scenario. In all of modern history, extreme right parties never solved the people's problems.
And they won't either.
At least pootin is prepared to protect and nurture his native people's and their culture and heritage..
Still Germany has a problem that needs fixed..and SOMEONE is offering to fix it.
They need to drop the flirting with Putin. He is the enemy not an ally
