If I was in your position (like with insurance) I wouldn’t get my cervix checked until at least two weeks from your due date. 1) every time you have it checked you could get a infection. 2) it could cause a domino affect and start labor.
Also, not sure if you have one yet but I’d get a nose frida. Sounds nasty but it is the literal best thing ever.
Katie DeBusk that’s so funny you mentioned that because I was just reading about it this morning lol! I didn’t realize that could potentially cause labor. Definitely won’t have her start checking until after the 1st.

Body pillow did not gel with me either! I sleep hot. Instead I’ve been using a wedge pillow right under my belly since maybe 32 weeks? It’s all I need to support my belly and I don’t feel too restricted to move around if I need to.
A wedge pillow sounds like an amazing idea!!! Where did you get yours?

You are too cute momma and glowing as always! Fingers crossed baby boy keeps cooking for as long as possible! Just try and take it easy and relax! Glad you were able to have a baby shower given everything going on in the world. Glad your able to have some good sleep and hope your able to keep your routine going so you don’t have trouble at night! Baby boy is getting so big, and you got the cutest big ol bump! Have you had people ask to rub or touch your bump to feel him move and kick? How do you feel about belly touchers?
Soooooo thankful we were able to have baby showers too :) they were so special. He is getting SO big!! I feel like his movements are more dramatic haha and my belly feels tighter all the time. He’s just growing and growing, losing room in there 😂 I honestly don’t mind when people touch my belly, people I know anyway. I’m sure for most of them it’s a special thing reminding them of when they were pregnant, that’s what I assume anyway. So I’m happy to share the special feeling with them :) Strangers are a different story, if they seem nice and they ask then I would say yes, but if they just randomly went up and touched me then that would be weird haha

I had my OB check every week! I was 2cm dilated for like 4 weeks before I got induced. So I was like super prepared to go into labor anytime since I was already dilating!
Honestly this is partly why I wish I could get my cervix checked 🤣 I want to know if I’m dilated. That’s so nice that you knew ahead of time!
I guess at the same time, he’ll come when he’s ready. Knowing the dilation would be nice but that wouldn’t exactly change anything, you know? 🤣
