Where have you been !!? I miss your videos. We have over 70 Japanese maples and really enjoy watching your care and narrative about the trees that you have. I really like your realistic advice and it's not a lot of fluff like on other sites and videos. You really do a great job. Hope to see something soon.
Greetings from England! I found your channel today whilst looking for guidance on controlling bamboo, and have now watched several of your films. Your garden is beautiful, and I congratulate you on the way you explain everything so clearly. Thanks!
Hi, Can you do an update on your Pinus Nigra and how it is doing 2 years later after you posted the pruning video? What was your routine for that tree this year? Thank you.
Thank you so much for this comprehensive information! Spring is arriving here and we were unsure what to do. Wondering if you would share with us what your personal preference is for fertilizer and why - store bought fertilizer or compost or both? Thank you.
Thank you so much! I use store bought organic slow-release fertilizer, which comes either as granules or as a powder, like you saw in the video. I fertilize only once a year in spring time. This slow-release fertilizer takes a few weeks to start to dissolve and is sufficient for the entire year. Having said that, we have nutrient rich loam soil in the garden. The soil you have should also be considered. We do not really compost a lot, but if we have some nice compost soil available I usually distribute that around the azaleas or rhododendron. Hope that helps :)
