Hi. My ex did that on my mac so I could have an access to one program. Does it mean I am connected to his PC and can only use it while his PC is on? Does he have access to my computer?

Answering to the first question, YES, to take remote access his PC must be connected over a network. Now second question, NO, this do not work vice-versa so only you can take access to his system not the other way around.

It depends on where your Windows PC is hosted. If it's on cloud then check your cloud dashboard and find configuration saying IP Address.

Seriously !?!? The WHOLE reason I watched this video is to try to figure out what credentials this thing is looking for because nothing I try works. And you just blew right past that. Totally useless ...

Some credentials are sensitive to share on public domain. You will enter username and password of the desktop user's.

Don't be silly - of course nobody expects you to show YOUR credentials ! My desktop username and password were the FIRST credentials I tried and they do NOT work. That's why I said, "... because nothing I try works". This is supposed to be an educational video. If you don't actually understand this subject and have to gloss over things you can't explain properly, you shouldn't be publishing tutorial videos @educators

Since you don't actually understand this subject very well, you should go do something you DO understand. By the way, for any readers of this post, it turned out the credentials required are your Microsoft Account credentials, not the "username and password of the desktop user". I strongly suggest you ignore this faker @@aducators and find a competent source of information.
