Well now Nicola, i think they could spot you from the Space Station wearing that wonderfully, Sparkly jacket. Good on ya Girl. I was born and raised in Camden Town, North London Eons ago. For many years the River Thames was just a hindrance to overcome daily on the commute to work. If i had a pound for every hour sat in traffic on Waterloo or Lambeth bridge i would not be writing this as i would be in the Bahamas. Watching you, and other MudLarks has given me a whole new perspective on the River Thames..one i wish i had back then. It never occured to me so many wonderful things could be discovered there. Merry Christmas to you and your loved ones Nicola...and thank you...peace.
Cheers, Kev's help and Nicola's eyes. Si, you do like the big stuff! Hello, Duncan👋 your friends are the greatest gifts. So much has happened since this was made. Glad I found you all, this past year. You, and Nic, are my favorite find! Stay safe, warm, and love that Si Smile 8-)
If it were monty python, there would definitely also be a "regiment of the other foot", both part of the sub-division of lower limbs, which - together with two regiments of hand - form the division of limbs
What a great video!! Seeing you dig out that anchor was something else. A lot of work goes into mud larking isn’t there?!! The anchor looks great!! I laughed when Nicola laughed about finding the pipe as her first finding for the day. She’s such a beautiful person!! When Nicola said the new year was going to be 2020 and I thought, that was all before Covid. Crazy hey? See you in your next video!!🌊🐬
They were loving all that splashing and glooping about in the mud. Almost as much as finding the anchor. Everyone loves mud really, no one loves the clean up.... I hate to admit it but I remember using pennies and half pennies before decimalisation in Scotland. We used Victorian coins regularly. We used to see who had the oldest for tuck money. A penny bought a jam marshmallow. Yum. The sixpence were the best. Love the video. Dear Nicola, Simon and friends have the best Christmas anda very Happy Hogmanay xxxx
Great video, Simon! Love the history lessons at the end. Thanks for rescuing all these treasures and sharing them with us....especially the anchor. You're a gem 💋
Thank you for your lovely Christmas video, I’ll finish watching later. Merry Christmas to you and all those important to you. I hope 2020 is a very good year for you. Happy New Year. BTW green jacket is brilliant.

Hooray ! Its Si and Nic at Christmas. And the ⚓ anchor is away out of the mud . congrats Si & friend for persevering and carrying off the booty. Merry Christmas to you all and see in New Year.
Thanks Si and Nicola. You guys sounded so cold out there. Merry Christmas and happy holidays. Nicola's fossil mass looks like it has a row of teeth. I know it must be shells but it was startling to see at first. Thanks again you guys for braving the cold and damp.🎄💚😇💜
Si: what a fantastic Christmas present from you and Nic! You have provided endless hours of entertainment this past year and I am eagerly awaiting your adventures in 2020. Thanks for all your hard work and creativity. Happiest of holidays to you, my friend!
My heart skipped a beat when you found that button with the 96 on it.. my 4 times Great Grandfather was in the 96 Regt of Foot, invalided out in 1815 one month before Waterloo.. spent the rest of his life in London (never went home to his wife and child in Scotland) lived in Poverty with a spell in the Poorhouse finally dying in Royal Hospital Chelsea 1845. I bet he cursed the day he lost that button.. he could have sold it! 😂 A very merry Christmas to you guys and thank you for the hugely entertaining videos which I am catching up on as chill out time after a hard day harvesting olives.
Merry Xmas Si.... I've really enjoyed your videos though out the year.... Thank you for making them... I'm disabled and don't get out much sooo I'm watching you living my dream.... Good luck to you I hope you find big and make your name.... Your a joy and privilege to watch
Awesome. I love to know the history behind the finds. The button was a good find and that coin was in excellent condition for being from 1862. Loved this

100 years from now, someone's going to dig up one of those sequins out of the mud and talk about how it was lost by an archaeologist during an excursion, with historical photos and footage from this video.
Great video Nicola 👍🏻 never find any seahorse... like the clip at the end with snow and India Blue song😁 thank you for sharing and Merry Christmas 🎄🎅🏻🎉👍🏻🥂🍾 Françoise from 🇫🇷
Teeth in a *Mudfossil* conglomerate would be rare as the first thing to go was bone, in the briny waters of the Great Flood that preserved everything else. ???
Hi Nicola. Greetings from Perthshire. Phoned a friend re your videos as she's very interested in collecting 'Sea Glass' and other craft things. Turns out she's been watching you for a while. Phoned my friend in Sydenham this evening, and he's been off work ill and binge watching your mudlarking! WTF??? He's applied for his licence today (£80) I'm jealous. Wishing I was still down in Battersea...
Merry Christmas, I love your videos, growing up close to bankside as a kid in the 70's i used to go down on the shore loads of Sundays and watch the mudlarks and see their finds, they used to dig such massive holes in those days then fill them in with big rocks so it was easier to take them out and get back to the great depth the following Sunday so thanks for the memories, ps i'd like to have seen Si's previous anchor all cleaned up.
Si, we definitely want to see the video! I love the hovercraft videos. I can't wait to see the new one out on the water. Have a lovely Xmas and New year x
What a Christmas present! I love watching you all playing in the mud, wishing I could be doing the same (in the same place). Yes, I would love to see the "big" anchor retrieval!
