Thanks for watching! Focus on deep breathing and clear your mind. For help on clearing your mind check out Michael Singer and his work. I made a video here about how his book changed my life: ruclips.net/video/V6BBArPhIuo/видео.html Check out his talks from my links in the description (and watch the Wim Hof breathing tutorial too if you haven't!!).
Great video been struggeling with sleep due to flu/covid not had a drink for two weeks now starting to feel better getting back into a general routine.
Oof, hope you're feeling better. Going through a tough patch with sleep is tough... been there many many times. I'm kind of going the same thing myself... first week off booze and my brain isn't happy. Haven't felt great the first week, but I'm hopeful and am following the advice in my video. Today was a beautiful day and really felt like life is good again. Looking forward to sleeping tonight!
What a read it was indeed. I miss it! I started watching the show but, I didn't really want to ruin my memory of the characters. Not sure if I'll continue watching. Hopefully you found something valuable in the video 👊 being sleep deprived is the worst and it's really worth working at in my opinion. I'm down to brainstorm though if you need some ideas!
Thanks brother! I love to plug Michael Singer every chance I get lol. Now that summers over and the kids are back to school, time to get back at it. Really appreciate the support 👊
For me, this has been a beautiful time of year to end the alcohol habit. My IPA bottles were “ calling the shots,” It was going exactly the way that great detective on a Brit show advised his colleague. “Booze can be a helpful colleague (okay, that’s not quite the right word) but it is a lousy BOSS.” I like to think I am free now but, of course, I may never be free while dreaming of miraculous IPA I in my favorite drinking glass; anyhow , is almost eights weeks or so and sleeping is really becoming quite swoony. Apologies if this sounded inappropriate. But, listen, even as a very little kid, worries woke me up . ( Not a great deal of maternal protection,a terrifying fourth grade teacher,....) Anyhow, warm wishes to everyone struggling out there - 🥰🐾💛💛💚🌕❤️💚🧡
Glad to hear it, thanks for sharing. My sleeps have been crap again lately as this is a tough time of year to avoid drinking for me. What's interesting is I'll wake up early and just lay there thinking... not being able to get back to sleep. Feeling tired all day and having less energy and creativity to do what I love to do. I wonder why I even want to have a drink... I avoid it all day, then right before dinner time the craving comes and it's difficult to avoid. I do know how and have learned some tools to deal with it but boy, the IPA song is a strong one!
Aw thanks for saying! I appreciate it. I worked really hard on this video and I'm a bit bummed out it's not getting the views like some of my other videos because I think it could help a lot of people. Maybe it will in the future. So even you just commenting on it makes me feel really good. Thank you :)
Man, you're amazing! You have a great sense of humour and your tips are really helpful. Keep doing this phenomenal work! 😍 Greetings from Poland, have a nice day! /Pat
Yeah I hear that. Our thinking mind takes over and we just let it talk and talk. I do the same thing but instead of worrying about sleep I worry about other stupid things like my neighbors playing loud music... They rarely do. But I obsess about it almost every night. Even now I'm worried they will play loud music on new year's Eve. And even the times they Did play music a tiny bit loud, they turned it off at 11. So why are our brains causing us suffering? I DO think for me my mind is weak right now. I am working on training it but have been out of practice.
It's a good question. It depends on what you do for work and your lifestyle etc.. but I definitely seem to thrive on around 8 hours personally. I find for me I like to be in bed by 10pm, lights out at 11pm, then out of bed by 7:30am. It seems based on my research women often prefer a .5-1 extra hours of sleep to men, I'm not sure why. I think consistency is the most important part. If you're staying up late once or twice a week that would be one of the worst things you can do for your circadian rhythm. Hope that helps 👊

Another very fun and honest presentation - so gratifying to find someone who feels exactly the same about things -

Wimhof not recommended for those with anxiety--box breathing is great
What do you mean about Wimhof not recommended for those with anxiety? I'm curious!
My obsession with trying to fall asleep keeps me from falling asleep

What is the ideal time to sleep? Do you sleep 8 hours a day?
